If you're looking for a truly special spring experience in the Pacific Northwest, Tulip Valley…read moreFarms is it. This gem of a family-run farm exceeded every expectation and left us not wanting to leave. One of the unexpected highlights was Farmer Andrew's Tulip Talk -- I honestly don't know why this isn't front and center in every piece of marketing, because it was absolutely wonderful. Andrew is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate, and his talk gave our visit so much more depth and meaning. Don't skip it! The u-pick experience was pure joy. We each got to hand-select 10 stems straight from the fields, wandering through row after row of stunning colors and varieties. The farm is beautifully laid out with so many gorgeous spots to sit, slow down, and just soak in the views of the tulips against the backdrop of the Cascades. We never felt rushed -- it truly felt like they wanted you to linger and enjoy every moment. The mini Highland cows are absolutely adorable and a total delight, especially for kids. The food vendors on site were a lovely bonus -- great options for both a meal and a snack, so you can easily make a full half-day of it. What also stood out was how relaxed the atmosphere felt. It wasn't overly crowded, and the whole vibe was welcoming and unhurried. You can tell this family pours real heart into everything they do. Tulip Valley Farms is the kind of place that reminds you to slow down and appreciate something beautiful. We'll be back every spring!

I repeat you can pet and engage with fluffy adorable cows! Named Pepper, Pumpkin and Sugar. 3. The owners and all staff are incredible and kind. I spent so much time wondering the field I missed the coffee truck. Joe shared his personal coffee supply with me and would not accept money. Seriously made an already amazing day even more incredible. They also have a front field for photo ops, and many u-pick fields Andrew and Holly do an incredible job caring for the farm and Holly makes beautiful jewelry available for purchase. This year they added a store with shirts, stickers and stuffed baby cows! Truly my favorite farm and I highly recommend you visit now!!!!

She got to hold a bunny and baby bunnies too, a chicken, a small tortoise, kitty cats and play with a friendly Dog named Rex who was a very well-behaved greeter to all who came to visit the farm that day. There were ducks bathing and splashing which brought giggles from the littles. Chloe got to brush a very friendly Donkey, a small horse and feed the goats and sheep. We spent a little over two hours and very much enjoyed ourselves. From my personal experience I noticed one very important rule to follow for anyone visiting the farm... please allow the people who are working the farm to pick up and hand you the animals you'd like to hold. Some are tamer than others and some are new to the farm. Please watch your children and help them follow just a few easy rules. It's very hard for most children to not chase and scare them or pick them up without help. When following the basic rules you will be sure to have a fantastic time. We were treated very kindly and rarely had to wait more than a minute or two for our turn to snuggle with a furry or feathered friend.

This year we got to go on a weekday which was so nice because we missed the crowds :) Ample parking, there's a few overflow lots available and they seem pretty stroller friendly. Bob's has a lawn with tons of pumpkins to choose from, a place to get fresh donuts, a few food stall options, a fudge shop, a country store where you can buy local favorites, a wagon ride, corn maze, and so much more. The free things are the pumpkin lawn and the country store, otherwise everything else is an extra cost for a reasonable price. I love picking up some corn, small pumpkins and honeycrisp apples at the country store and then finding a large carving pumpkin :)

Lots of cars in the parking lots on a weekend, but the farm is big and doesn't feel too crowded. There's lots of pumpkins and a bunch of photo stops. Tried the slides, zip-line, basketball, and the small tractor tow around the dirt course. Was fun. Bob's is known for their large corn maze. The adult maze is on the other side of the road, and you get their by taking the hay ride. More pumpkins and sunflower field on that side too. The maze is pretty big. Took me 20 minutes to walk out following the map. Probably takes 1-2 hours if you don't use the map. As for food, they have mini donuts, cider, burger, pizza, chicken tenders. Tried the mini donuts which were fresh and tasted pretty good. They have pumpkin and apple cinnamon flavors. Overall I enjoyed the experience, as an adult. All the kids there seem to be having a good time. Fall festival tickets not that cheap but most of the other farms charge similarly.

The lights and farm itself seem very small, but they packed in a lot of photo ops and play stations. They had a soccer goal, basketball hoop, and "snow". The little shop was also open during the event, and had a good and surprisingly affordable selection of lavender products. I tried the huckleberry lavender lemonade and honey lavender taffy, both were excellent. The even itself was also free, so even though it was small, it was worth it, and a great way to get into the holiday spirit! I would recommend them to anyone in the area.

Overflow parking available street-side. Bathrooms: Yes in a bathroom trailer like the ones at fairs. Payment methods: The have square for credit card purchases in their gift shop. But bring cash for the donation box if you plan to get coffee, unless you're a freeloader. Customer Service: Excellent, they were friendly when I bought my son a ginger bread cookie. Dog friendly: Yes, bring poop bags and a leash though. My wife found this place and brought me and our 3 year old son to it tonight. It was wonderful. Kind of dreamy if you will. Check out my videos, I captured the moment pretty well while also being playful/funny in a couple. There is a cool fire pit you can sit around and drink the cocoa and coffee. The farm had a trail that loops around the property. Beginning of the trail has a christmas light decorated soccer goal with lights. Then a big chair for pictures, followed by a bubble machine. The whole farm is light up like a christmas light village. Very pretty. Come around to the other side of the property and find a cool fake snow machine and a basketball hoop. Then a chicken coup on display for the littles. They also have a tractor the kids can sit on and take pictures with that lights up. And a dog that you can play fetch with. But the dog is in a yard you walk up to. Set up on purpose like that. The dog knows his/her role and is a great employee, loving everyone that comes by and throws the ball. Very neat place! Hope you like my pictures and videos, I tried my best to capture the whole place. Felt majestic.
