We recently purchased a house, went through all the initial inspection and decided it was perfect! All was great, location, size, neighborhood, it checked all the right boxes. Not to long after moving in and all the hustle and the bustle quieted down we started noticing something. There was a strange sound coming from the ceiling, the noise would span from one end of the house to the other. We brushed it off a few days and finally had enough. We entered the crawl space and attic to see what the noise was. We found a horrific mess of mouse droppings, tunnels, nests and decon in the attic. My husband set and baited traps. After a few weeks nothing was caught and the noise continued. Worried about the damage and disease this creature could cause we had enough. We contacted point they came out did the initial inspection and let us know they would set us up on a plan that was guaranteed for life. I have a rental and was very angry to find out that my tenants had Thrashed the place. Then to top it off my grandson found thousands of bugs everywhere when j hired him to help me clean it out. Bugs i had never seen before but i was sure i could find an answer! Pointe was my first call as I have used them for ants and what not before. Josh G and Jonathon where the rugged strong angels that came to help us Murder those nasty things (both very easy on the eyes I might add) Gotta love a man in uniform! He is always ready to do what it takes to keep his customers happy with his service, doing a thorough job without cutting any corners and looking for any new issues and eliminating them. Eric was with me prior before Pointe and I am glad to be back under his service. He has also made a point to give his clientele holiday cards with a handwritten sentiment. This personal touch is sincerely appreciated. He always tries not to disturb me if I don't have inside activity if scheduled appointment interferes with my grand babies nap times or is earlier then I wake. I live on the central coast of Oregon where the weather is mild, not to hot in the summer and not too cold in the winter. Because of the mild weather, I noticed the spiders really thrive. The outside of the house is covered with cobwebs and white cottony looking things. I had Pointe Pest Control to help us manage the spiders and ants population outside the house. Camron C. came and did the work. First he removed all the spider webs on the outside of the house, then sprayed the wall to remove the spiders and spider eggs. He also sprayed the baseboards inside the house to stop the bugs and ants from going inside. Camron C. knows what he is doing, polite and hard working. We have used Pointe Pest Control for several years. We live near a creek, and had horrible issues with both ants and spiders. I would buy dozens of cans of contact sprays from Home Depot each summer, and still could not control them. Pointe uses chemicals that are both pet safe, and systemic to the pests being controlled, meaning they carry it to the nest Eric has done our service, and has been extremely informative and patient, explaining what we should do, and not do, to keep our home pest free. We have been using Pointe Pest Control for a few years now and we have loved their service. When we found Pointe, we were switching from another pest control provider that had awful communication and customer service. We had been fighting ants in the house all spring with limited success with poison and sprays. After several days away we returned to a full invasion in our kitchen and on a neighbor's recommendation we called Pointe. Chris Acton came out, did an evaluation and set us up to have Elliot Smith come out the next day to begin treatment. Elliot warned we may still see some strays but we only saw a few, The invasion was over! Joseph Cooper came out for the 30 day follow-up and did an additional spray and knock down of outside spiderwebs. Josh Derr, the technician who did my spraying was friendly, personable, and informative. He did a really good job for me, knocking down about a dozen wasp nests, some 5 or 6-inches! Great company. We had an ant problem and they took care of it. They also removed hornet nests last summer and placed rat and mouse traps. I highly recommend them. I've been using them for almost a year now and they have proven that they can remove all pests from my house. Their schedule is very flexible and the people on the phone are always friendly. This is my family's first year here, from a drier climate, so even though we have no pest "problem" we'd rather the bugs stay outside the house. With the neighbor's recommendation we are trying PPC. All the people I've interacted with have been great (shoutout to our first technician, Maysee, who made my toddler's day by waving to her through every window in the house). Time will tell on the effectiveness, but our technician seemed quite thorough and I'm sticking with 5 stars unless we have an issue (which I doubt!). read more
