For the quality of the oysters, it is really cheap IMO. We tried a number of different oysters between our visits. D'isigny #2, Fin de Claire #2, Utah Beach #2, Belon, Gillardeau and the hughmongo Pieds de Cheval. Also NOT to be missed are the sizzling escargot (yes, the butter sauce is sizzling in the shell when it's served to you) and the bulot with aioli. The service is also great here and very helpful with the different choices of oysters -- even if you don't speak French well. Here's a hint, eat at the counter instead of sitting inside. The different oysters and other items are at least a 10% discount at the counter. I think some of the oysters are as much as 25-30% off the menu price. I believe it's because you don't get charged taxes when you are eating at the counter. Best oysters I've ever had have been in France and this place is at the top of that list. That gives this a rare 5-star rating from me.

The whelks were somewhat hard to get out of their shells, but they were very chewy and satisfying. The escargot came out hot and warm, with the parsley sauce soaking into the tender snail meat.
