I went to make an appointment, and the person who assisted me was extremely disrespectful. When she realized my English wasn't perfect, she told me "you need to learn English because you're in our country" and "you got lucky because I speak Spanish." That comment was racist, discriminatory, and completely unacceptable. No one should ever be treated that way because of their language or accent. If you value respect, equality, and professionalism, I strongly do not recommend this company.

There is a reason why there are so many problems in Miami-the police are completely unresponsive…read more One night, a drunk man tried to force himself into my apartment. I had the police on the phone, as I struggled to close the door and lock it. The police arrived (in multiple cars) over an hour later and left without doing anything. They didn't even take a report. They simply told me that the man was a veteran as if I should tolerate him because he is a veteran. They said that being drunk and behaving as he was did not violate any laws. After they left, the man continued to harass me and my neighbor. He paced in front of our apartment for hours, would stand looking into our units, and tried to unlock my door. we had to call the police again. I went to the station to file a report about another case, as recommended. The officer working at the front desk didn't seem like she wanted to help at all and at one point, she stepped away and I could hear her criticizing my situation. I ended up just leaving. I've lived in Miami for 9 months and the police here (and at this station) are the absolute worst.

Miami Police Department - WOW!!! So proud of you!!! Congratulations!!!!!! :)))

Ok so it doesn't have the bright and airy feel like we saw in the police station in Bad Boys 2…read more Instead of "grape soda and chicken wings" some of the officers enjoyed pastelitos. I don't know if they have a basketball court like in the original "Bad Boys" (which was filmed in the actual Miami Civil Courthouse). But I did run into the officers on the social media unit who had noticed sone of my insta posts. The building itself features the modular look and heavy concrete highlights of the brutalist architecture, a typical design of institutional and governmental buildings. The inside is a regular office building with conference rooms and department offices. As far as fingerprinting, I went through the metal detector and photographed for a visitor pass. I then went to cashier; paid $10 in cash and waited for the officer. Pleasant but functional, he took my License, filled in the form, and inked my hands to mark up the professional license application. How did I get hands clean? They have industrial strength degreaser and towels to clean up after. I was given the form and off I went. I could ding a star because I had to get print the form and that it's all cash but everyone at the station was courteous and helpful.

Even through the rapid evolution of Coral Gables. this department has not only handled issues that inevitably arise with growth, they have chosen to be proactive to ensure the community is informed, empowered and safe. Truly hometown heroes that are such an integral part of the community. God bless the officers who serve and protect us 24/7. I wish I could give them more than 5 stars.

I sincerely hoped that I could make it home with what little power remained. My situation became an emergency when my Nissan Leaf died a block and a half from my destination. I called the police hoping to get assistance pushing my car from blocking traffic lanes. That's when Officer Coleman showed up to my rescue. He called for backup and Officer Jorva arrived. While Officer Coleman pushed my car (getting up to 4MPH!) Officer Jorva drove his car getting us safely through a cross street. Both then pushed the car into a friend's driveway. I was having a really bad day until both of these gentlemen came onto the scene. I am so happy that this occurred in Coral Gables, and that these two men are on the Coral Gables Police force. I'm very grateful for their assistance.

If I could give 10 stars to this place I would. We needed to get our daughter a new passport but…read morebecause she's a minor the only option is to go in person. We called multiple places close to home including post offices and some did not answer or are fully booked for weeks. I found online that Village of Palmetto Bay has this service, so I did the appt online but had availability after school starts, my husband called and spoke to Melissa who was just amazing and beyond with answering our questions. We were able to get an earlier appointment and came in today, and met Melissa in person and she was kind as can be. During our visit today Idalmys was the clerk who helped us and she was wonderful. She took our daughters picture and assisted us wonderfully. This was the best passport experience and overall service we've ever had.

Dear Village of Palmetto Bay,…read more Ever since I started hanging out, and now living, here I've loved the Village. It's absolutely beautiful and quiet, an upper middle-class neighborhood with beautiful parks, nice-sized lots, and with a very neighborly/community feel to it. I appreciate that you are on top of Code Compliance, in regards to lawns, garbage cans, and other violations that make the houses look bad and lower the property values. Once, our grass was too high and we received a notice (the horror!), so we had the grass cut the following day. Hey, things happen and its the summer, the grass grows quickly, you know. ;-) The police department is always patrolling the neighborhood, which always makes me feel very safe. Not to mention the fact that most of them are really friendly and helpful. We had an early New Year's party and they had to visit us for a noise complaint. But they were never rude or aggressive. Just very courteous and nice asking us to please keep it down and not to disturb the neighbors. Which we did. Now I did happen to notice Village of Palmetto Bay, that the park across the street from our house has their grass really high currently. It's actually so tall that it looks like a wheat field. Do you think you can cruise by 148 Street and trim it a bit? After all you are in Code Violation... Thanks for a wonderful environment to have a home and a life. :) Best Regards, SabrinaAnna*
