We arrived to this newly furnished salon, which was brightly lit with new pedi massage chairs and tubs. The owners are a Vietnamese couple named Michael and Miley, and they just relocated from the mall to this downtown location. Miley was ready when we arrived and started the foot baths while we picked our colors. Miley did the other pedicure and Michael did mine, and both of us felt well attended and very comfortable in the nicely decorated place.They focused on the "trouble" areas of our feet, and both of us were very pleased with our pedicures, leg/foot massages, and warm towels. Michael handled my fill and polish very well. He was very efficient. He did two layers of color and one of clear, and the finish was smooth and beautiful. (I actually waited a few days to write this review to make sure everything still looked great after time passed.) I would recommend this place to others with only a caution about the price tag. Since it's Ketchikan, I was expecting higher prices. The pedicure was $40, to give readers an idea. However, the quality of work and professionalism was excellent, and it was a pleasurable treat to visit Nails by Michael in Ketchikan.
