There are also a couple of chiller cabinets with a good range of drinks at very good competitive prices. Along the full length of the shop are racks and racks of magazines - everything you could think of from the usual fhm, loaded, bizarre, for mac, pc world, dvd world, skin, back street heroes, fast car, redline, twist and go, empire, q, digital photographer through to the more obscure railway modeller, military modelling, wargames etc. In the event that they don't have what you want, if it's in print they will get it for you. This store can get very very busy and although there is displayed access because of the wide range of greeting cards on offer it can become hard to manover round especially for parents with prams. As it is very popular there always seems to be a que but this can go down fairly quickly. They also have brand greeting cards such as 'Me to You' and 'Purple Ronnie' and do a really nice range of handmade cards. Miss Selfridge is a fashion clothing store, and is part of the Selfridges chain. It is aimed at the young and fashion concious, and is aiming to be affordable to teenagers and young adults. The clothes are very high fashion, and tend to be more stocked towards party or noghtlife clothes, than casual clothing, although it does stock this as well, but a much smaller range. The size range in this chain is not brilliant, although starting at a size 6 it only goes up to a 16 in store. This concessionary is very small, covering only a corner of the Outfit branch. It stocks some party wear and a few peices of casual wear, and has a couple of jewellery stands. It occassionally has a few bags on sale as well, but doesn't stock any of the petite or tall range which are available in the other stores. However, it is handy to have it inside the Outfit store if you need a last minute purchase.

This is the tiniest Mothercare store in the world (well, maybe)…read more It's inside the shopping centre, with doors to two sides quite close to the southern car park, so unlike it's larger cousin over in the retail park Hull you've got to pay for parking or walk quite a bit. Inside, the staff are really, really helpful. It's just a pity that they have got so little stock to be able to help you with. I saw a travel system there on display at a fab price and wanted to buy, but they had none in stock, so after picking the brains of the staff for half an hour about it, I ended up buying online. I guess that probably happens a lot in this tiny shop. They do seem to have a little of everything though, so if you're just looking for some sort of baby essentials and aren't too fussy you're bound to find something.

They also have other household goods like kitchen accessories, lighting and storage. There's a small cafe which is nice as there isn't a great deal else on the industrial estate, and they are quite reasonably priced. All in, it's a really nice shop if you're looking to furnish a home on a budget.
