No, I will not be going back to the UPS Store on N Santa Cruz anymore!! I took it to Apple the next day and they recommended buying a new laptop since the cost of repair would be almost the same price. This process would wipe the data clean which I hadn't backed up. They told me I could send it out to have the data recovered through their trusted third party companies. When I called that company, they quoted me anywhere from 800 to 4k for the job. Being thin on options, I googled Macbook repair and this business came up (I made sure to check all the reviews). The communication was one of the best I've experienced. I sent it in and they repaired it in 2-3 days with everything there, it was as if the laptop was never damaged. All the data was kept and everything works perfectly. Not to mention the cost was 1/5 the price of what I would've had to otherwise pay through Apple. When I came to collect the laptop and pay, the technician greeted me at the door and shook my hand telling me everything he did. These people are seriously the most kindest individuals and will give you the best service. I would very much go back to them again.

He had to remove the keyboard components and thoroughly clean the inside of my laptop. Thankfully, he was able to fix my MacBook. Ray was also incredibly helpful in explaining how to properly back up my data and what steps to take if something like this happens again. He even helped me back up my MacBook to iCloud. If you ever spill liquid on your device, shut it down immediately and bring it to Ray. He saved me from having to buy a new laptop!

My computer crashed the other night right around 5:30 pm so I got on the old interweb and found…read morethat TechCare was open until 6pm. I called them at 5:50pm and spoke with Ray "I think he is the owner" anyway I told him what was going on and he said to come on down and that he would wait for me. When I arrived I noticed that they have a big Yelp banner on the window, I walked in and spoke with Ray about the problem and showed him a picture of what the error was, he was up front with me and explained that if the hard drive was bad that he would not be able to save my data. I told him to do his best to save my data. The next day he texted me with a quote and said that he would be able to fix it and save my data. I told him to fix it. About 3 hours later he texted me again and said to come on by and pick it up. Now when I arrived he didn't just give me my computer and send me on my way, he sat me down and explained that I have 3 different options to save my data just in case the hard drive or computer crashes in the future. He also said that if I'm not sure how to back up the hard drive or need help with anything to call him and he would walk me through it. When all was said and done, he charged me $299 out the door and my machine is working flawlessly!! Thank you Ray! You got a customer for life.

I was connected right away to their executive assistant, Roberta and immediately set a time for that same day. I went and helped with the design Two sweatshirts embroidered in less than 30 minutes. I was in and out of there. It was about $60 (I can't remember how much) But it was a good price for me. I was pleased with the work! I forgot to take a picture of the sweaters but I the gift ended up being a hit! I recommend them! Note: this was for one embroidery on two sweaters. For multiple embroidery pieces and more bulk items please plan accordingly.
