We went this year on the first day of Oct, we could not have asked for better weather! Everything at the farm was ready for the fall fun; games, animals, pumpkins, hayride through Pumpkin Land and food trucks all shiny and waiting! The staff is always helpful and friendly. I had some questions about the Christmas Teas later in the year. I enjoyed a hot pumpkin steamer, then we walked down to the house and barn. I am looking forward to the winter events later there. We enjoy taking a lot of photos in the cut outs and around the farm. As always the Pumpkin Lane Hayride was a treat! This year they have the pumpkins in the grassy area and we did not even get our shoes dirty! That was a nice surprise. They have some nice new cotton tote for only $6, you know I took one of those home... LOL! We had a great day and we took home a wheel barrel of pumpkins too! read more

I enjoyed our Anne of Green Gables mother daughters tea we went to. No it was not all women!!! Lol but it was extremely nicely decorated with a ton of Anne memorabilia... We arrived and were immediately seated at s nicely decorated thematic table. Tea was brought out immediately. Both orange spice and black teas. Cream and sugar easily available. I saw clotted cream and jams. I was excited but the clotted cream was light and fluffy and not sweet but tasty still on the warm scones. The tasty bites were nice and also themed. They were bites... not a luncheon or great portion... definitely not what i'm used to for teas. But I bet the price was less than im used to as well... my sister bought the tickets so I don't know. Everyone was extremely nice and friendly. There's a quaint historic home next door that you're able to go walk through. Overall a good experience... we had a very nice time!! read more

We were feeling pretty sad because we weren't sure how pumpkin patches were going to work during these COVID times but thankfully Pomeroy Farms shifted seamlessly. They turned their beautiful tractor guides into single car ones - which was perfect because we could still see everything and take our time. The pumpkin selection was very clean, safe, and still fun for the kids. Their treats were just as delicious as last year! read more

We stumbled upon this pumpkin patch on the way to Lucia Falls and just had to pop in on the way back. It's a six dollars admission and caused us to hesitate but once we got in it was lots of fun. It has lots of great activities, you get to see a blacksmith, corn hole, a little hay maze for the kids, goats and chickens which you can feed, a couple of food carts and a great hayride which takes you around the big loop with lots of imaginative scenarios with pumpkin headed scarecrows. The pumpkin patch is full of perfect looking pumpkins that may have fallen from pumpkin heaven onto the patch. A very enjoyable experience. read more

So, my wife and I stopped in on the off chance that the wine would be good after hiking at Moulton Falls. And, we were quite surprised to find that the wine was very good and comfortable with some of the higher end wines that we have had in the past. We purchased A winetasting flight first and then ended up buying two bottles of wine to go. We bought the two bottles to waive our tasting fee and also because we thoroughly enjoyed the wine. The Pinot Noir was exceptional. The venue for winetasting is pleasant but not extravagant like you would see in Willamette Valley. It was very simple but, very clean and very quiet. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio enjoying the view of the pasture and mountains directly behind the property. The person serving the wine was a part owner. I don't recall his name but he was very professional but not overly chatty or informative about the wine. Overall, the experience was good but more importantly, the wine was good. Very surprising considering the out-of-the-way location and very little media attention. I have never heard of Pomeroy vineyard in the 13 years that we have been living in the area.. read more

We stopped at this tucked away little farm after leaving Lucia Falls. The entrance fee for adults was $6 and it included a hayride. The cost made us hesitate because we already knew our pumpkins would be more expensive than standard store pumpkins but it was worth it. They have lawn games set up so you can play games like corn hole and horseshoes. We visited the blacksmith shop and saw him forging a nail. We feed the chickens and visited the goats. We went on the hayride out to the pumpkin patch and it were delighted with all of their pumpkin people decorations. They decorate the lane with pumpkin people riding bicycles or sitting down for tea. You'll see familiar characters such as Moana, Harry Potter and Jane Austin. They also have food carts with Mexican and carnival style eats. read more

One of the favorite wineries I visited in the Washington state! The owner Dan was extremely helpful and very friendly. The ambiance was relaxing: fireplace, several couches and armchairs, wine game cards to test your wine knowledge, clean and spacious bathrooms. Wine flight for $10 was diverse and with good quality wine: white blend, rose, and several types of smooth reds. I ended up buying four bottles of the white blend (on sale 4 for $40. I plan to bring my hubby next time and drop him off at one of the nearby waterfalls while I'm doing wine tasting . read more

This venue was beautiful for our daughter's wedding. My only complaint is that if you leave something behind, they don't notify you. It just goes in the garbage. Our daughter accidentally left her $250 bouquet with memory photo charms on it in the barn during pics. It was the last pic before coming into the reception and she forgot to grab it. When the farm was notified about it, we were told it was tossed in the garbage! So sad that they don't think they have any responsibility for letting you know. BRIDES beware! read more

attended the Mothers Tea this weekend, location is on a cute farm way out in Yacolts Wa. The old barn building was decorated so lovely , tables with linen cloth, flowers and fine china. very nice ambiance. However the tea sandwiches were passed by an attendant and you were only given a choice of 3 sandwiches tea sandwiches which are very small bite size. They did come around a second time with sandwiches., but you had to wait until each table was served. finally they came around with 3 pastries and you on got 1 of each that was it , Tea was over everything was delicious but 24.00 each ?? not worth it , they should set a tray of sandwiches and pastries and each table- akward being served and waiting til they come around. I would pay 18 maybe. read more
