We had a group of around twelve people and everyone was kept occupied with some task, but not so busy that they couldn't sip their wine and chat. Once our meal was prepared, we sat down at one long table and enjoyed the fruits of our labor. I will certainly return again on my own, and I highly recommend this as a group activity. What's great is that Class Cooking is not only next door to Burnt Bridge Cellars but the same couple who owns Class Cooking also co-owns the winery. They utilize both spaces, at least for our private event. And the wine is delicious!

How ever, to be able to read their policy on cancellation, you need a password to get to the Terms & Cancellation site. So schedule your summer cold carefully. They may be in the hospitality business - but not very hospitable. $80 lesson to learn!

They have everything set up for you and they have aprons available but I definitely encourage you to bring clothes you don't mind getting dirty. The instructor was great - she goes over a step by step demo and then with the whole class the instructor goes over the steps again and you end up with a piece of your choice. I ended up having time to make 3 pieces in total. Highly recommend - very fun and a nice challenge!

They also have a nice selection of matte choices, should your work require it, and different types of glass, from common window glass to anti-UV, anti-reflective glass for maximum preservation and visibility. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. They even throw in free picture hooks so you needn't rummage around or make a trip to the hardware store when you get your artwork home, which is a nice touch. Prices are not cheap, but then even cheap, junky frames are expensive and difficult to find nowadays, and the workmanship by Aurora is very good, and justifies the cost. They have also proven adept at framing some oddball pieces for me that are not normally considered "art," so don't be afraid to challenge them!

The instructor, Grayson, did a fantastic job modeling techniques and answering questions as the class progressed. One of my main concerns was getting back on board after falling off. This was one of the first things that was addressed and we were shown a couple different ways to do it. There was one person who struggled a little bit, but Grayson was quick to help and offer alternative options. This class was an excellent value for the money, and it has made me feel confident joining my friends on their paddling adventures.
