Someone suggested this spot, and when I called, the owner answered! Not only was he incredibly kind and accommodating, but he guaranteed he would have the order ready for me by 5:00 AM the next morning. Who does that? I ended up ordering 150 mini conchas, and they were absolutely devoured by my coworkers! Everyone insisted we order from here again. It was one of a few that had price listed. We picked out what four (4) conchas, two (2) fruit empanadas, two (2) peanut butter cookies, and a bottle of Pepsi for about $8. I really miss having a panaderia close by my house. I used to visit one frequently in my old neighborhood. Although I'm not from the south side, I can still count on "La-Concha" for a quick, economical snack whenever I end up in the area.
