This year for Christmas I ask for a camera, I had given a picture of the exact camera I wanted and where to purchase. Well somehow it was was purchased from a grey haired gentleman at ponds that assured her the camera she was buying was a much better even though they carry the Canon brand. But I was told that if I had ANY ISSUES come down and they would explain the camera for me. I wanted to return it immediately but I was told to give it a few days and try it out and see if I liked it. So New Year's Eve I tried the camera, all the pictures came out looking quite strange in fact I myself came out looking like A different nationality. I mean some people like looking as if they slathered self tanner all of them but not me. So I decided that day I was returning that camera. But life doesn't always go as planned things and with a constant string of things going wrong I wasn't able to make it down to Ponds. I also didn't know I could go ahead five day return policy, that's mainly why I told the person above me the camera to go to the big box store who has a 30 day return policy. Even with saying that, it was a Christmas gift and most of those days in between the date it was bought in the day I got it that was five days. I had no chance with this camera. So I finally made it downtown, drove around for 45 minutes to find a parking spot then to pay for parking. Go inside try to basically explain to the grey hair man why I've taken so long to come to store and explain what my issues were like the camera hijacks my internet and the extremely long transfer times while the house has no internet. But he said that what you get for high quality it's not like your phone. I just wanted help. They agreed to take the camera at a reduced price because it was used, I admit I cried.. I had a head ache and he never said he was the one that originally helped sell this camera. But he very quickly offered a camera that was so much more expensive. I'm stuck with this camera because I got a head injury and I was under so much stress because of my life that I decided to put the camera away and deal when I could. I went in for help was treated poorly because I know nothing about cameras, that's right that's why I was there for help. I'm glad I was there to be ignored for every customer that walked in the door. It explains how you knew I wanted removable lens. I did return to trade in this camera as Mike (grey hair man) had offered a $400 trade in, four days later it dropped to $250 because apparently I paid $550 which I did not, the lady that was spent time explaining cars losing value and cameras can't be sold for much used and I paid $550. Ponds wrote an 8% discount for each item, now most people would think cool 8% off but what a strange number or just the right amount for a tax exempt card. Which is not a discount. read more

My Brother hired Ponds to do a video of my nephews life for his celebration. Alexa was so helpful gathering and organizing our media. We had a real mixture of slides, digital and actual photos, she assured us that this was normal and would not be a problem. The video was created and sound was added. It is creative and was completed early as well as $10 less than the quote. I cannot be more pleased with the experience. Thanks to Pond's we have some beautiful memories to treasure. I needed a few posters done for a wedding and the staff we able to help me pick the sizes I wanted and get them printed the next day. We had seating charts & a photo for guest to sign as well as a framed print of our last name at the head of the table. Looked Amazing! read more

Dropped a roll off yesterday for processing and they had it ready for the next day which was great. It's very expensive, however, even by today's standards of competitively priced developing in a mostly digital world. It was about $19 for just the photos on a CD and when I opened the files they were all upside down. My sister's files were all upside down as well and even though they were able to fit 5 rolls on one CD, she was charged for 5 CDs. Sort of disappointing on the whole and I will be going elsewhere for this service. Very friendly staff though. read more

I just spent 2 hours (including 1 hour travel time to get to Ponds) so, one hour cropping and selecting at their kiosk. The system crashed and NONE of the 100 pics that I had worked on could be saved...all gone. Ponds, you should really have a disclaimer on your kiosks that states your kiosks are a crap shoot. read more
