The reception and its staff were great. The camping products they sold were reasonably priced too, which can be a bit unusual for a campsite shop. The shower and toilet facilities were the best I have experienced (and I've experienced some pretty good shower and toilet facilities I can tell you). Spotlessly clean. But three more additional facts make this site great: 1) it is across the road from a supermarket, this my friends is a real boon. 2) and its right next door to the Dartmouth town park and ride car park. This is perfect, you can go into town of an evening, have a drink and come back again for 3 GBP, which includes up to six people. Flipping brilliant (last bus is at 1130) 3) the park has wifi, good wifi too. It is paid for, but I thought 11 GBP for seven days wifi is a bargain One final note: it was not because we had the best weather ever that made me review this place through rose tinted glasses... far from it. The weather was terrible. So bad that two of our group of four left to go home after two nights (because of the weather I stress). Us hardcore campers soaked up the storm conditions and had our holiday :) So the bad weather did not dampen how I feel for this campsite. It is top notch and if I am ever back in the area with a tent, I will be found here.

The surrounding area was lovely and was nice and quite until about 11pm when new people began turing up with bright lights and revving engines, i was very disapponted they allowed people to arrive this late, and later. The toilets were very small for such a large capsite and not cleaned very regularly, also the showers were little more than brick building with plastic stuck on top. This was until we explored further and found the caravan site part had better facilities including hairdryers! We used this section from then on. The pool and pub areas were all very nice and there was cheap entertainment on from early til late, we did not stay however because our eardrums were bleeding from the loudness of the music and talking. In a good position, just seemed to struggle with the sheer amount if people there, and it wasnt full!

just looking into booking our 3rd summer holiday here...love the place its so calm, clean and…read morewelcoming ! we have always booked through a private caravan owner even though the prices only differ slightly from the hoburn prices, the camp is lovley and clean, food is excellent, entertainment is ok, the indoor pool is open 9 till 8 with no restictions on the time spent in there( even in bust times)there are baby rabbits running around the park so you need to be extra carefull when driving, the ladies on reception are brilliant we you book in and are so helpfull if you need to go for information/help, ther is security on the camp and they have a no-nonsence approach which is what most of us would expect form a family holiday camp. hand on heart i would recommend this camp to couples famillies.
