Probably due to the fact that lots of people in Amsterdam are really tall! Nice atmosphere although this place seemed to have the type of people that don't know how to play but act like sharks. You know the type--loud, annoying, ALWAYS in your way when you want to take a shot. No manners. And every shot is a loud and fast miss. Guess these kinds of men are in pool halls everywhere. But there were serious players too! Waffling on 4 or 5 stars because it wasn't perfect for me but it probably would be perfect for most serious players.

The price for hourly tables was a bit steep but the beer was affordable and they had a good selection of it. The cool, almost hidden entrance is part of the charm and there was plenty of room to play without bumping into other players, despite what that other reviewer mentioned. I thought this place was cool and I had a good time beating my opponent.
