We arrived at 2:35 p.m. We were immediately accosted by a man telling us that they close at 3:00 p.m. I mentioned that one site stated they close at 4:00 p.m. At 10 till 3, a woman approached at stated we close in 10 minutes. We planned on purchasing a large amount of flowers. We rushed to the counter and the same woman was very rude to my mother. The staff started closing the gate while my elderly mom was STILL exiting with a cart! What happened to customer service, southern hospitality and kindness? We planned on spending a couple hundred dollars easily. With their large surplus of annuals... they should rethink their attitude and poor customer service. I will not be returning. I will travel to Andersons in Pungo. My mom was hurt by their actions, as she had fond memories going there with my father.

We discussed our project with three different companies, and Earth Stone delivered a competitive bid, and was able to meet our vision with a complete gut in the kitchen and bathroom along with opening up our DR to the kitchen. They made our house safe by fixing structural issues found along the way and implemented a beautiful design. The end result is a kitchen open to our DR that is bright and happy with ample cupboard space, and modern flair that still kept the feel of the older home. The bathroom is awesome! It went from dark, dreary and strange to beautiful and functional. The space was very small, but Earth Stone was able to get all our wants, including a bathtub for me within the size constraints of the space. We appreciated the Earth Stone teams working in and out of the house. They were all kind, considerate and professional--from the design team to the craftsman. The work done is amazing!

We have a long galley kitchen and I mentioned I didn't want a seam on a long run, no problem I was assured! Unfortunately, I was out of town during the install. The guy who did the measurements measured the sink wrong. "Easy fix" they said, and back to the shop to cut a new piece. Wait, it took six weeks to get the install but you can go cut a whole new piece in a couple hours? Well, not exactly. Now I have an ugly seam in the center of the sink, and there's a huge tooling gouge on the front edge. I'm sad about that, but the wife doesn't notice so I guess it's not a big deal (to her). The opposite wall has 8 feet of cabinets. Simple slab install, right? Well, one end the overhang is 1/2 an inch, the other end 2¾ inches. I mean how do you screw that up? It looks, for lack of a better word, stupid. Definitely not what $4000 should look like in my opinion. If you're thinking about spending your money here, make sure you watch the install team. Personally I feel like my wife was taken advantage of due to the complete lack of quality control. Maybe I'm overly critical, but I didn't think people really care about quality craftsmanship anymore.

He stayed late at his store and custom measured, threaded and cut a spoke to fit the rear wheel - he then installed it and trued the wheel properly - and even gave us a ride to and from our hotel. A true gentleman! What could have been a disaster for our trip turned into a pleasant evening chatting with Roger about his cycling adventures in Africa, Asia and Europe All touring cyclists on the Adventure Cycling Atlantic Coast route (which goes within a block of his shop!) should stop by. He is the only cycle shop within 50 miles!
