He said they are celebrating 30 years in business this March! He has several stylists to choose from, but since I hadn't been there I let him recommend someone who can handle my somewhat unique situation: thick, curly, and definitely unruly hair. It's never easy to get a good haircut with layers. One gal happened to have an opening the same day. The prices were quite reasonable, too! (I hate paying much for this kind of thing but several months ago I went to a chain store and got the worst cut in my life and have been trying to grow it out ever since. ) Once I arrived at the cute house-turned-Salon, there was no wait for my stylist ... she was efficient, pleasant and started right in by washing and conditioning my hair. She did a great job, especially when she blew dried and styled it..... I asked her to straighten it out a bit which took a really long time with two different types of brushes, and several hair products along the way. My hair turned out very nicely! I have seen Audrey, one of the owners when I couldn't see Judy, but all of the ladies do excellent work and I would see any of them. Another thing about them is that they are all so nice. There is a lot of talking and laughing among everyone. I'm a gregarious person so I really enjoy coming and just talking with everyone. I leave feeling good about myself because my hair is refreshed, except all of my color is on the floor, (lol) and I have been out of the house around some other ladies who made me laugh. I highly recommend this place for men or women. I have seen many men come in and leave looking great. These ladies can do any hair style.
