I stumbled upon the Indy Microblading Instagram page when a friend of mine mentioned she got hers done there; and after creeping on all the photos, I found Ali's Instagram page. WOW. I was beyond amazed! I followed her brow work for what seemed like forever and finally mustered up the courage to reach out to her with my questions. From the very beginning, Ali demonstrated an impeccable depth of knowledge when it came to her craft. Any question I had, whether it seemed crazy or not, Ali answered with grace and honesty. Ali genuinely takes the time to listen to any perspective client and will never steer anyone the wrong way. Ali was able to (in my opinion) know what I wanted and desired for my brows even before I did-and boy did she deliver! Ali's brow mapping was nothing short of masterful, and the actual microbalding was quick and painless! I never felt more like myself until Ali worked her magic on my eyebrows. What I loved most about my experience with Ali was how personable and friendly she made the procedure/appointment, and how she demonstrated such a vested interest in my pre and post microblading process. Ali from Indy Microblading is amazing!!! I was very worried about having my eyebrows done as I had never colored them, filled them in or whatever you do to them I just knew that I needed shape and fullness! As busy as my life is I never took the time to learn how to use an eyebrow pencil. Before my appointment Ali sent some instructions saying not to tweeze, thread or wax your eyebrows so she can see the natural shape and to come in with whatever makeup on your brows that you normally do. So I was like maybe this isn't really for me I don't use makeup on my eyebrows and the not tweezing, waxing etc was soooooo hard I looked hideous but it was all very worth it!! I followed Ali on Instagram (@arched .by.ali) for a long time before I ever scheduled because I was so nervous. Needless to say I am soooo HAPPY with my brows (even after going home and shedding some tears because I was a little overwhelmed with them at first). I cannot wait to go back in for my touch up!! Ali did an outstanding job mapping my brows out the shape color and everything about them is perfect. Ali also did a great job explaining the healing process which if you are not prepared can be a little stressful!!! The salon is superclean and everyone is very professional. Indy Microblading offers the best microblading training there is. Before I knew that Indy Microblading was offering training, I originally went to a different "international" traveling microblading training seminar. The class included at least 13 trainees with just 2-3 trainers. It was not very personal and the information felt very scripted. In the training seminar I had only been allowed to partially microblade one model and left feeling unprepared. I was also only given a "Certificate of Attendance", with instructions to complete multiple steps alone and online by submitting photos of drawn eyebrows, strokes, etc in order to eventually earn an actual certification in microblading. Feeling that the training was inadequate, I participated in Indy Microblading's training session thereafter. Indy Microblading's course only accepts a handful of artists at one time, with 2 trainers for that small group. Carlyn tailors her course for the personal attention her trainees need. She not only teaches facts about the art of microblading, but also prepares her trainees to start and build a microblading business. Additionally, Carlyn's brow mapping method far surpasses the methods taught in the other training seminar. I highly recommend the Indy Microblading training course to anyone interested in adding this art to their repertoire. read more

I had previous microblading done at another location that I was not happy with. I should have done more research before hand. No mapping was done and I did not see them until she was finished. I cried the whole way home because they looked terrible. Thank God for makeup! After about a year, my previous brows had faded slightly but still had to cover them with makeup so I decided I needed to get them redone. This time I did my research. I found Indy Microblading on Instagram and stalked the brow artists for a while, and finally chose Ali. Her work and style was exactly what I was looking for. I am so glad I made the decision to get my eyebrows microbladed by Ali! She was amazing to work with and made the fear of an unknown process as easy as possible! She began by walking me through all the steps that would occur and made sure the shape was perfect before starting. I was a little nervous at first to do this but after it was over I LOVED the results. It does fade and the color does come back after the first session. Healed great with very little scabbing. The touch up session was included in the price. I always hated my brows and colored them in everyday. Now I wake up everyday with one less thing to do! Just had my touch up session a week away.
