Would really LOVE some Popeyes chicken. My husband went to the drive through..no one was there. He went to the window, no one was there. He went inside, the girl at the counter looked at him like she had no clue what she was doing there and said there would be a 30 min wait for some chicken to be ready. That is totally unacceptable. I love Popeyes chicken but this location really sucks the life out of this love. Every damn time. This has happened more than several occasions. What is being done to improve service here? Is it possible some restaurants are cursed? This one is! In the beginning, 2 locations, great food, great service. Soon, service at the north location bit the dust, prices went up, and it closed. This location still has good food, but service is horrible! I always order on the app. I get there and the customers are lined up, waiting, waiting, waiting. When you finally get your order, do NOT leave the store till you have checked your order. I have gotten home too many times with the wrong order. My last order was a thigh and 2 legs. My husband ordered something and had it doordash to us but when it arrived half of the order was missing. We called popeyes and the person on the phone tried to play dumb saying the phone got disconnected so when we hung up and tried calling back that's when they weren't answering. I really like the flounder sandwich this time of year. Mistake! This place is horrible! First off the so called manager had her phone stuffed in her bra talking away and couldn't be bothered doing her job all in Spanish then placing the dirty phone on top of the sandwich wrappers, dirty counter and so on - just gross. Then of course she was the only employee who spoke broken English. There was no one there (and I now know why) took almost 15 minutes to get a sandwich and you could tell nobody there had any interest in doing their job. And of course got the order wrong I asked for the tartar sauce on the side. When I finally got my sandwich it was all busted up and really not good at all. Employees were nice, but this Popeyes was an ultimate let down. The Drive thru was closed and they were out of half the menu. Luckily I checked my sandwich before leaving. So they were holding each Cx at the ordering speaker until that persons order was ready then they would ask them to pull to the window, this was causing a very long back up, people were leaving, its like they were cooking each meal one at a time. My fries were cold, i had to wait 20 minutes because they had no spicey chicken sandwiches ready, but when they finally brought my food around to the front where i had to wait, that chicken sandwich was so so good, hot juicy delicious, and i ate it with half the cold fries which was all i wanted because they were cold. Took 30 minutes to get my fast food order. If it wasn't for him I would've gotten a refund. He then gave me a free meal on a future visit. Well went back 4 weeks later 03/01/24 at 6pm and the fat manager never acknowledged me. There were 6 ppl waiting for their food. Never took my order and so I left. We went by yesterday at lunch to drive thru. The guy got on and asked us to wait a bit, but was very polite. we ordered and pulled up. The guy was very friendly and asked us to pull around and wait. They seemed very short handed. A few moments later the same guy to took our order and rang us up, brought our food to us outside. He looked like he was the only one working. He was still very friendly and polite. Excellent customer service and apologized for the wait. We really didn't wait that long and had nowhere to be. This place is the worst as far as customer service goes. I have on several occasions gone through the drive-through and witnessed car after car driving away from the menu board and not going up to the window. I soon realized why. On each of those occasions, I pulled up to place my order however there was no response. No person ever asked to take my order. I waited 10 minutes then drove away like the others ahead of me. Today was the same except after waiting at the menu I decided not to drive away and I drove up to the window instead. I waited there for another 10 minutes with several people walking around and paying no attention. I truly do not understand what is happening in that store. There were no customers inside and only 1 car in parking lot which I assume was an employee's car. I've have no clue how this location makes any profit. Calling the company help line was a very similar experience. All menu choices led only to options to communicate by text. I can't see Popeyes remaining in business much longer unless something drastic changes. read more
