I went to the Popeyes at Central/Dunlap Ave on July 13th 2026 at approximately 12:40p.m I went inside it was very slow and the restaurant only had two patrons and no one in the drive-thru. Three people working: (2) employees and (1) manager. My complaint is about the Manager,the short Hispanic woman. When I walked in she looked at me,never greeted me,she was on a call so I waited browsing the menu,she was on her personal phone,someone she knew drove up thru the drive thru and she was talking to her friend through her headset about plans for tonight,she wanted her to come inside the restaurant but her friend was in a hurry. While I'm still waiting to place my order 2 cars roll up in the drive-thru I'm thinking to myself if she takes their order before mine that's really f****d up,and that's exactly what she did. I attempted to get her attention and she straight up ignored me. The other 2 employees knew I was pissed so I left and contacted the Corporate office. I honestly think she had a problem with me because I'm a black female,I would like to think it wasn't but what other reason could it have been that I stood there waiting to be waited on for 7 minutes without as much as an apology when she heard me say,f*** this I'm leaving. I ordered the Rojo Spicy Chicken Sandwich. Upon arrival order was not ready and I was told it would be a minute. Several customers came and went. Then after it calmed down someone asked "have you been helped" and I said I was there for a pick up that apparently had been placed in the pick up area but no one said it was ready. Got my items and left. On my way home the "sweet tea" was probably tea but definitely not sweet! Once I sat down to eat, I opened my bag and no chicken sandwich! This has to be the slowest Popeyes I have ever seen. We ordered and waited almost 60 min. There was drive thru going faster than the speed of smell. There was 4 tables inside. No tartar sauce on the chicken sandwich. We ordered 2 more didn't get them. Shorted a fry. Red beans and rice had sauce no beans. And boneless wings were less than sauced. The pies were apple and not the strawberry cream. Popeyes is fantastic. I just do t recommend this location. Full disappointment. Not to mention. It was barely room temp when received. read more

The male then proceeded to flirt with female customers rather than provide adequate service reasoning that they did not have the things we needed because "everything out including ice for beverages" No signs were even posted apologizing stating they were currently out of ice. The young light skinned lady voice on the intercom was unwelcoming, usually when people say thank you, you respond by saying 'you're welcome', it's common courtesy. She forgot my silverware and napkins, there was no rush and no cars behind me. Not sure why the lack of items. I would not want to be here during rush hour if you forget the simple things. This has to be the worst Popeye's. They can't seem to get my order right anytime I go. My company used them for catering recently and they forgot 2 sandwiches and 3 orders of strawberry biscuits. I called to ask for the missing items and the manager told me to take it up with Door Dash or whichever delivery service we used. I told him my company didn't use a delivery service-- we used the Popeyes website. He said he checked the order personally and everything was there (subtly implying I was lying). He then said that he'd give me the missing items if I brought the whole order back, but my crew had already started eating when we realized we had been shorted. Luckily people decided to split their food to make up for the restaurant's mistake. Today, I brought my nephew through the drive thru, thinking they couldn't mess up 2 orders. I was wrong. We ordered a Classic Sandwich and a 6 piece Lemon Pepper Wings with Blackened Ranch. What we got was a Spicy Sandwich, a giant mess, and no Blackened Ranch. The box of wings wasn't fully closed and the Lemon Pepper sauce leaked out all over the inside of the bag, covering the sandwich wrapper. Luckily nothing got on my car's floor mat. Every time that I came here, the food is ready pretty fast. the first time I took my hubby here they ran out of chicken bites so they gave us chicken strips instead after asking us. I said sure and was happy with what I received. I like their different spicy sauces because they'll mother it on your chicken strips and chicken bites if you ask them to. I went there with my youngest child and she ate everything. He is not much of a meat eater so the fact that he ate it I find that as a positive. I like that their app has so many coupons. Two for the price of one deals is so great. I will definitely come here again with my children. Oh my gosh! I won't be going to this establishment again! This isn't my first dissatisfied visit to this particular restaurant. Today, we had lunch there, inside. There was only one other customer seated and eating inside, so it was not busy. There did seem to be a steady stream of walk-ins picking up to go orders (door dash?) We ordered a Bacon Cheddar Spicy Sandwich Combo and a 3 piece Large Combo. We procured our drinks and waited, and waited. Eventually, I stood close to the counter and waited more. A young lady asked me what we ordered and I recited the order and waited. Then, the same lady tried to give me a bagged to go order and I repeated what our order was and waited some more. The order finally arrived and I noticed that there was only one biscuit. Looking up at the menu board, right below the word COMBOS, it stated on the first line that all combos came with a biscuit. I asked a young man behind the counter if I could get the biscuit. He told me that only one of our orders came with one. I disagreed and pointed out that it stated right there on the menu board that all combos came with one. He would not budge and it became a little heated and exasperating. Finally, he points out that 4 lines below COMBOS, there is a small print, asterisked line that names several of the combos that don't come with a biscuit. Oh my gosh, the print was so small that I could barely read it! Nevermind that the first line stated that all combos came with a biscuit. I apologized and said that I was sorry. I was absolutely appalled that there had been so much argumentative back and forth and pretty much lost my appetite. We were only arguing over one measly biscuit on an order that totaled $25.17. To me, it was the principle of the thing! At this point a lady stepped up (manager?) and asked what the problem was. I had had enough and just told her, no problem, just forget it. We ate our meal. The food was okay. Before leaving, my wife used the restroom. It was trashy, used paper towels on the floor around the full trash can and NO toilet paper. I then used the men's restroom and the trash can situation was the same. I didn't need toilet paper, so I can't complain about that. Attempting to wash my hands, I found that there was no soap in the dispenser. All in all, not a very good experience and I will no longer patronize that particular Popeyes. read more

Unexpected pleasure! We like us some Popeyes BUT it can be a real crap shoot as to what you'll find. Quality, consistency, service, etc seem very subjective across our great nation. Yesterday we're happy to say we hit the Jackpot! The start was admittedly rough. It was raining and the ceiling in the dining room was leaking ( they had it blocked off.) The electronic menu boards were down and the menu was in magic marker and pen written on sheet of white paper on a clipboard. And then spicy tenders and bone-in chicken was cooking but would be a bit. BUT....... The guy behind the counter was a rockstar. He was polite, informative and accommodating and went out of his way for us and everyone else caught in that moment. We weren't in a hurry so we sat down and listened and watched him be polite and upfront with each new customer about the potential wait. A customer came in using an assistance walker and he not only took the food out to the customers car but stood there (in the rain) while the older gentleman struggled to get situated, smiling and chatting with him. When the food was ready it was so darn good. resh, hot, crispy and the seasoning was spot on. Just that perfect kick of spice we go to Popeyes for. We wanted to get his name but missed him. Hello. My daughter and I went to your location on 34th and Greenway (I will attach receipt). Upon arrival going through drive through with our mobile order the Popeyes work asked my order, I advised I have a mobile order and told her my name; the worker proceeded to advise me it was picked up 20 minutes ago. I had advised Ms. Breana I had placed it 10 minutes ago so how could it have been picked up. I tried to ask further questions and she advised I need to contact corporate's for a refund and she could not assist with my door dash order (I never mentioned door dash) she asked me to pull forward or put an order in. I advised I would come in and speak with the manager. When entering the store the manager was speaking with Ms. Breana and I stepped forward and explained my side. Ms. Breana had thought I said my name was JD not Jamie. The manager was super kind and apologized promptly, Ms Breana did not and walked away with no acknowledgement. I will say your manager is awesome but I will notate this is not the first time I have had awful customer service at your location. The manager was very complimentary with a cheese cake which changed my attitude. Thoroughly disappointed. My last visit was November 14th, 2019. And yes, it'll be my last. The food was good, but the service is STILL terrible. I've been frequenting this location for years and I'm finally fed up. Almost every visit there is something MISSING from my order and I can't do it anymore. I tried numerous times to reach them by phone and tell them about it but neither phone number available ( on the printed receipt and on Google ) will allow me to reach someone. I then went into the physical location today and spoke to a young man with glasses that claimed to be a manager. He says since it's been almost a month, he can't help me. I have my receipt...
