For a recent Halloween party, I decided that I wanted to give away a Halloween movie or two as part of a costume contest prize. I'll admit I don't even really buy movies much (not even with streaming), but when I have I've gone to Walmart or something. Well it turns out they didn't really have the movies I was wanting in stock, and I got nervous about where else I could possibly buy a physical movie... Then I remembered this place! I came here once with my brother and mom to look for some video game thing my brother wanted as a gift or something, and I remembered that they sold a good selection of movies. The people were very nice there too. Before I went all they way to the store, I wanted to actually make sure they even had the movies I was wanting. So, I called the store to see if they had them in stock. The worker I talked to was helpful. He was able to check on both movies easily. It did take him a few minutes to track them down, so I'm guessing they maybe don't have the best/ most advanced system in place, but I was still able to get an answer. I was super happy that they had both movies I wanted for the prize! I had them put the movies on hold for me, thinking I'd run in later that day to pick them up, but I lost track of time and that didn't happen. Luckily, they hold things for up to three days, so when I went in a day or two later they still had them ready for me! It was super easy to just walk in, give my name, pay, and walk out with the movies. One other interesting thing about Vintage Stock movies is that some are new and others are used movies. For the two movies I got, I ended up with one of each. At first I was reluctant about the used one, but when I asked if the quality was still good (since it was sort of a gift, after all) they told me that they check to make sure that everything is still in good shape. The movie prices are similar to other places, maybe a little cheaper, and especially if you get one of the used versions. I'll definitely remember this place if I ever need to buy a movie not online again!

You'll find what you just might need. They have a plethora of movies, games, music cds or vinyl. I suggest go in the summer time due to some boredom' seepage. I am a vinyl record collector. This is your all year around type of place. The store clerks are knowledgeable and friendly!!

One of the employees, (I did not catch his name, but I need to find out to give him credit) asked me what I was looking for. He searched their database and found it at a different store and asked them to hold it for me to pick up. I visited on 4/13 around 3pm. The workers here are great. First off, every thing they sell is marked up crazy high, and most of the time you can find it cheaper either across the street at Vintage Stock, or for even cheaper online. They boast about their "sales" constantly when in fact the "sale" price is usually the standard market price for the item. I guess if you're stuck in the mall and just really need to overpay for a cheap t-shirt or scratched CD, this is definitely the spot! Second, about their FYE membership card. The card is offered to a customer whenever they are paying with a debit/credit card. IF THEY OFFER YOU AN FYE CARD OR MAGAZINES, TELL THEM NO. This is their way of offering you a "free" 1 month trial for the card (2 months for magazines) that saves you 10% in store, but what they usually don't tell you is that if you forget to cancel the card after a month, it will automatically start withdrawing money from card you used in store(11.99 each month). Usually there is no way to get your money back, and you're pretty much screwed. Don't let the 10% savings fool you. Third, also relating to the FYE Membership card scam, is their magazine scam. They promise 3 free different magazine trials free for 2 months. Now, after you agree and accept the terms for the magazines, the 2 month trial starts. Usually people don't end up getting their magazines for 8-10 weeks, already after the trial period has expired. So when you're supposedly getting your "3 free magazines", most of the time you will have already been charged for them, and won't even know it. Employees try desperately to get you to sign up for both the magazines and membership cards, because it's so easy for them to trick you out of your money, and because it's the only focus of their job. I really can't think of anything positive this store has to offer anybody, except people who are too dumb to know any better. If you're used to going into FYE, I would suggest a better store with better prices, such as: Vintage Stock, Starship, or even any independently owned music/game store. If you do find yourself in a situation where you do end up in the store, be aware that almost anything you see is overpriced, and be careful that they don't sign you up for one of their scams when you're checking out.

service the service was kind and direct. upon entering the…read morebookstore, at which i've previosuly exchanged books for credit and also purchased books, usually with a combination of credit with cash, i got in line at the front of the islandic checkout and guest service counter. a worker asked if i was ready to checkout, and then offered two potential locations for a recent edition of the farmer almanac, for which i was searching. selection although i'd not found any edition of the farmers almanac in either section the counter worker suggested, that l was necessary for pausing a moment to reflect on the different satisfactions of finding a book for which you are looking vs looking in a section or two to find an affordable book that sparks your interest to read for whatever reason you have for doing so. and i believe i've found such a book in 'the book of joy', with his holiness the dalai lama and archbishop desmond tutu as cowriters, and douglas abrams cowriting too. while i've read only the introductory section and first two chapters, the book has been thusfar satisfyingly rewarding, as both prominent religious leaders giving voice to the book are 'wise', as the second i mentioned describes the first i'm mentioning, and the book as a whole provides witness to the potential for the medium in sharing wisdom from a live presentation to readers at a later point. such a book also suggests to me the value of finding a book that might not give specific scientific detail about how to solve a challenge in life, but that speaks on a similar subject or subjects as the thoughts swirling in your mind. value the value was very affordable, just a dollar and change. additionally, the bookstore had lovely halloween decor, in case you are able to get there tomorrow or whenever the store considers end of the holiday season, with the favorite i had being the crime scene body outlines in the true crime section.

Organization is a little dicey at times, and you sometimes have to look around for what you want. Since it's all used books, you never know what you're going to get (like a box of chocolates....).
