After all, they are working to benefit animals! I ended up spending almost 2 hours in the store and bought a ton of stuff. I bought books and housewares and jewelry and clothes. I found a designer dress in my size for only six dollars. I did try it on (they have a fitting room). Everyone working there was super nice and helpful. Next time I am back in town I will absolutely go again. It's a gem of a store.

This is an all volunteer shop opened in the summer 7 days a week - 6 days in the winter. Really fair prices! For a small town, there are tons of donations to this place, which is really cool. You can find some pretty interesting items here that make your mouth drop and so you cannot walk out with out it! I've gotten a few things from here over the years.. many shirts, games, and weird 80s style dresses! basically awesomeness has been found here in my life! It's been a while since I've been back in there, and sadly, since I moved away, it's loveliness has been replaced with better thrift stores, but i have a couple trips planned over the summer to visit Washburn again, so, for sure, I will be making another stop in soon!

Kids clothes were upstairs. Mattresses and furniture on the main floor as well as ladies clothes and accessories. The clothes were organized by size and color and the prices were amazing! $1.95 for Ann Taylor Loft shirt? Yes! Thank you very much. There were fashionable/ funky pictures on the walls of their large dressing room.
