Check in was seamless and easy and our double and twin (upgraded) room was ready when we arrived around 1 pm which was a nice touch. Dark wood decor throughout with a balcony. Safe was available as well a Mini Bar. Robes and slippers were provided. There is a restaurant and breakfast/Brunch was available. Although we didn't eat here, the restaurant was full during meal times. Two person elevator that is from another era but still worked and got the job done. The Fitness room/Spa area had Modern decor and is the part of the hotel that has been updated. A rare, both Steam and Dry Sauna rooms (2-3 people max capability) are included with an inviting relax area that was always kept clean and organized. An Amazing Wine Bar (La Tenuta)) and coffee shop (Christie's) just steps away and 15 minutes walk from the City Center. Yasside and the team took good care of us and gave us some great recommendations and tips. Extra star for their service minded and engaged approach. We will be back!

When we saw our room we noticed our bed was a bit too small for two people, so we called the front desk and they immediately upgraded us and brought us new keys to our room. Overall the hotel is super clean, beds are extra comfy, deluxe rooms have balconies, and they also have a spa + gym in the basement.

They gave me some nonsense instructions about using the lift but came to find out that the instructions "press button P"are not present in the lifts from level -3 and all other buttons take one to a level completely separate from the hotel lobby. They made no effort to personally accompany me or otherwise help. The parking is not free. I chose to leave without bothering to see the rooms as my first experience was unacceptable. I would never go back there. Don't waste your money! I hope that the reception staff on the day in question ( May 4 2025 at about 21:00) are fired. That's what you get when you hire dumb idiots

This is likely a result of the clientèle they regularly serve. The United Nations offices, Red Cross and WHO are very close by, so there are large numbers of dignitaries staying in the hotel on a regular basis. This also means a very secure environment that caters to people of varying nationalities. The TV channel selection, for example, reflects this. Be sure to visit the hallway with photos of some of the well-known people who've stayed at the hotel, which was first opened in 1964. We certainly had one of the lower end rooms, facing west toward some local housing (and a co-op) vs. overlooking Lake Geneva in the distance. Incidentally, the co-op has some decent ready-to-eat food selections... so if you don't want a sit-down meal, it might be a good place to visit. Other than the hotel restaurant, there are only a few good places to eat within easy walking distance of the hotel. Our room was spacious by European standards, and there was beautiful lighting, extra seating, and desk space. A room safe and minibar are part of the package. The king bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was well appointed, with an expansive deep bathtub and wonderful large bath towels. The toiletries were a rather exclusive brand and had a great unisex scent. We only had breakfast in the restaurant, but it, too, was outstanding. Both buffet and menu selections were available. Servers were competent and sincerely nice. We especially enjoyed our interactions with Sarah. The hostess was wonderful as well. This hotel had many amenities that we didn't use, like a pool and sauna. Be sure to look these up ahead of time so you bring what you need.

It was moderately priced making it an ideal choice as a base to experience Geneva during our short 2-night stay. And a short stay you will have as you can easily experience what Geneva has to offer in one full day. The rooms were nicely furnished with an old world charm, were air-conditioned, and beds comfortable for 2 friends to share. Desk staff were super friendly and helpful. The surrounding neighborhood has its "rougher" parts, especially with brothel occupied Rue de Berne *ahem*, though I never felt leery/ unsafe, more so intrigued, really ;). The easy walk to Geneva Lake and Paquis de Buvette was much convenient, on the other hand. It was a short stroll to reach Old Town as well. Perhaps my feedback would be that the AC and mini bar fridge could have been colder, but my American butt be so high maintenance, therefore they are minor gripes. Super helpful to have a link sent prior to our visit to acquire the free public transit pass for tourists. It allowed us to hop on one of the many trains leaving from the station at the airport to Geneva train station.
