But at the end of the job he complains on how much more he had to do and does it anyway without the agreement and then asks for $800 more at the end of the job. I would not pay that nonsense and now he will not come back and fix the drywall tape that is showing every where, the screw pops and the outlet and vent holes he over cut. It's awful. He says, "Either pay the $800 extra I am demanding or I don't come back and stand by the year warranty," Also, my cathedral ceiling drywall is already showing a huge line all the way down it and it is going to crack in time before you know it. This man is a crooked unethical unprofessional character! I can't emphasize enough, DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY THE TIME OF DAY!!!

I came into possession of a very dirty, very damaged house…read more I called "Lil Dan Handyman" and he arrived every day to clean the house. It was truly amazing that Dan was able and willing to tackle any and every cleaning job needed at that house (and there were many!!). Dan also tackled every repair job (and again, there were many). In addition, he did a wonderful job of salvaging the kitchen cupboards and doors, to save me money instead of having to replace them. He washed every floor and wall in the house. To top it all off, after washing the walls and baseboards, Dan painted all of them so that I had a crisp looking home in the end. He also repaired the porch that was in disrepair, and power-washed the outside of the house as well as the porch. He coated the porch 2x with the whitest of white paint, so now I can feel proud of how the house looks from the street. Dan determined what was needed and let me know his progress, sent before and after pictures, and was a pleasure to deal with every day. He didn't stop at the inside of the house. He cleaned up the neglected, overgrown backyard and front yard. Dan transformed my house from one that appeared utterly uninhabitable, to a house that is a comfortable home. I will be forever grateful to Dan for that. Dan worked at an extremely reasonable rate. I was very fortunate to have been able to contract with Dan for the many problem areas in that house. He gave me the gift of a house I am comfortable to be in, and a house I where I am proud to invite friends to visit. Since that time I have called on Dan to help out with rental properties, and he shows up every time, diagnoses the problem promptly, and does the repairs, whether it is DRYWALL repairs, painting, cleaning, outdoor maintenance, eavestrough cleaning, or general maintenance.
