Kevin is knowledgeable when it comes to editing, and he brings a strong presence to every session. He has a knack for balancing the artist's vision, brainstorming effectively, and putting on his "producer hat" to ensure everyone is proud of the final product. The only reason I'm giving four stars instead of five is the studio's overall atmosphere. Since it started as a garage from the early 1900s, there was a lingering smell of cigarette smoke. That said, we all start somewhere, and I've heard a hefty makeover is in the works, which I'm so stoked to see the results of! This drawback hasn't gotten in the way of me returning, and I'd still recommend this studio to anyone serious about their music. Kevin is deeply committed to his craft, but also knows how to loosen up and keep the vibe fun. The team she hired to set up the venue was clearly inexperienced and even made comments to my family members saying, "I'm not sure what to do I've never done this before." Time was severely mismanaged and the coordinator/owner was visibly overwhelmed. Marilee does not care whether or not you are happy with her services. After the wedding, I tried contacting Marilee privately to express my dissatisfaction and try and find a compromise on the amount she billed us for (which she was unwilling to give any details or itemization of her invoice) and she ended up ignoring my emails. She took no accountability, was disrespectful and made rude comments about my wedding, and showed no willingness to compromise...she never apologized and immediately was defensive and threatened legal action. After trying to contact her 3 times and being ignored, she filed with small claims. The judgement ended up being dismissed. After having such a horrible experience and doing more research, I found out the business was dissolved in 2014 and is no longer legally operating under its LLC.

Everything was set up and on time for the event...In fact they traveled over an hour to our location. Wish I could say more about cocktail hour but--honestly--I missed it getting pulled in every which direction. I know we ran out of the delicious crostadas during cocktail hour but I have a feeling it was because they were so good, the guests destroyed them (The spread was our favorite app at the tasting) They acted quick and subbed some sweet bread when we were out --which was also delicious. We received lots of compliments on the food: Lasagna and Chicken piccata. Despite being an hour away, the lasagna was piping hot, gooey, and plenty cheesy. I think the recipe on the chicken got tweaked a little bit between the tasting and the event...but certainly not in any bad way. I gorged myself on the leftovers the following several days. Overall, it was a Solid experience and everything went smooth. Honestly, when it comes down to all the planning of the wedding--that's a dream come true. Pro Tip: Pay on time or you'll get (professionally) worded messages to pony-up. Plus it's common courtesy. If you need to spread your payments out to make it on time, they will definitely work with you on a payment plan. It's a huge expense... but our price (compared to other contracts we solicited) was pretty good. Pro Tip #2: The more you plan and communicate, the more they can make sure things go your way. We chose several appetizers (charcuterie board, veggie tray, fresh green salad) and a brownie/dessert tray that blew our minds. Excellent!!! Delivery was on time and extremely friendly. I will definitely use Two Hearts for my next event. Highly recommend!!!
