One of the most anxious things about moving to a new area is going to a new dentist for the first time, especially as, like me (and my husband) you had after enduring some pretty poor ones in the past had time to get used to a good one in our last location. It took me several months to finally decide that this practice was probably the best one, going by the various dental websites for the area. A tentative initial phone call, to ask if they were accepting new NHS patients, went extremely well and the receptionist was very friendly and helpful. This resulted in my husband and I making an appointment and going along to have a check up a couple of days ago. The first impression of the place was good; the waiting area is large and comfortable, nicely carpeted with pleasant soft seating and attractive pictures on the walls. We were both more than delighted to find we were registered with Anthony Bannon as he could not have been nicer what a friendly, gentle and thoroughly professional dentist. He put us both entirely at our ease and (when our mouths weren't wide open!) we had a good chat, not only about our teeth but about our move to Kilmarnock too. While I was waiting for my husband on the landing, I saw a couple of the other dentists welcoming their patients, which included young school children, and they were also very warm and welcoming. It's probably obvious by now that we were extremely pleased with our choice of dentist and, even after only one appointment, I would not hesitate to recommend this dental practice to anyone. read more

I have NEVER felt more comfortable and relaxed with a dentist in my entire life everyone from the people that answer the phone and the ones that do billing, up to the dentist. Thank you Dr. Guyot, my Tustin dentist, http://www.davidmguyotdds.com/index.html . He is an expert on crowns too. http://www.davidmguyotdds.com/crown/index.html read more

Having been a patient of many years from a single lady to married mum of 2, had no doubts about getting my husband to move to this practice and no hesitation when adding my children to the practice. A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere from the entrance onwards, being dealt with a pleasant and friendly receptionist who though busy always makes time to chat and charm my kids. The dentist A. Buchanan and his nurse are excellent both very professional and really friendly and really make you feel at ease and even after several visits,I could not fault any aspect, in fact has probably got better as they got to know my family and I better and our own little peculiarities. My husband who sees M. Wishart again is always full of praise for any treatment he has received and for the care and attention paid to him by any staff he has encountered. Paying NHS prices with the option of being able to have private work done if we wish a white filling means that it's easily budgeted for and all costs are explained thoroughly beforehand. On all aspects from kids care to check ups, treatment and unfortunately the odd toothache (which was speedily dealt with appointment withi 24 hours!) i am so very pleased and happy with our practice, and would and do highly recommend this practice to anyone. Having visited recently and seeing the new expansion to the surgery and how everyone was really excited and happy with their new practice and the great sense of unity about the practice from the reception to the childsmile nurse to the dentist and nurses i felt it was finally time to put pen to paper, or in this case fingers to keyboard and give them a much deserved pat on the back for years of excellent service. read more
