In a pinch visited here yesterday, pulled in, asked for $10 in gas on the card. We were informed that the minimum for a card is $15, no problem, asked for $15. Asked the guy if he would mind washing the windshield. His response was, "Nope." Our response, "excuse me?" His response, I'm only making like $.15 on this sale so no." "Okay.... so would you mind if I used your squeegee?" NO ANSWER. So louder, "Can I use your squeegee?" he just pointed and said it's over there. There happens to be Marines stuff in a few place, I was thinking to myself that i would never imagine saying that a Marine is lazy but this guy is lazy. Maybe he's not the Marine. Either way, he made $.15 off us that day and lost any future business that he would ever get from us. Living half way between the Mill City and the Lyons gas station, we will make sure to go to the Mill City station from now on. What happened to the days when people just valued a hard days work and that was part of the reward. If you need a better profit, then you mark your prices to get that profit, don't punish me for your business plan.

It's located at a 3 way intersection, right across from the Walgreen's and a lighthouse. t's a good looking, clean store with plenty of parking and easy access from all three directions. They have plenty of beer- lots of Pabst! The coolers are cold, and they have a wide variety of flavors of beer and soda. Circle K is where I go for all my snacking needs. Their selection of chips and candy are unparalleled! I enjoy how they have multiple flavors of coffee available, with real milk and not just that ultra processed fake cream. When we came here, the clerks were extremely friendly, and welcomed us into the store. They helped us quickly and proficiently. This is the best selection for convenience stores in the neighborhood! I'll be back.

I went in at 9 am the next day only for the manager to tell me they don't take returns... I told her how her employee had given me specific directions on when and who to come back and see and she still just shook her head. A manager should be more willing to help and stick to the word of their employees. Horrible communication and service here.

Yeah, it's a Plaid Pantry…read more But really, my review is because of the staff. Or, at least, the day shift staff. I don't necessarily want to get filtered, but the day and swing shift managers are some of the nicest ladies I've ever had the pleasure to meet and the day shift clerk is a very friendly, outgoing guy. They will shout out greetings to everyone walking in, are always pleasant, very helpful, and really respond to things. As I work very close nearby, I stop in almost daily to pick up a drink to take home after work or during lunch. They call me by name, ask how things are going, talk about what's going on with them, and are generally just very friendly and upbeat. When I mentioned that the particular brand of chips and flavour that I like was running out, as I steadily depleted their stock, I discovered upon returning from my days off of work that they had a whole rack loaded with them. And it's stayed loaded since then. They're also quick to point out promotional sales and coupons they receive. Their back counter is full of coupons from distributors that offer money off various items. Once I was able to use coupons, with their help, to get two diet cokes, two mellow yellows and two king size Reeses candy bars, and thanks to the coupons that they leapt forward to offer, I got it all for a little over two bucks. I doubt anyone will go out of their way to visit this store, but the people who work here, at least right now, are just really great people and they represent their company very well. On a negative side, the parking lot -is- pretty bad, and the dry cleaner's next door tends to garner people that use up a lot of their space. If a truck is delivering, they often block almost the complete parking lot. And because of the location of town that its in, you'll often get people hanging out by the payphone out front, the dumpsters to the side, or just loitering against the wall like Jay and Silent Bob.
