Their English was excellent. They did not speak Ukrainian or Russian (I did not expect them to and personally, I do not care if they did or didn't and the 4 stars does not reflect that). Most of my reviews on yelp include languages of the restaurants, so that is my reasoning for including it. Their website is in English, Polish and German -- so perhaps they speak German!! The food was incredible. Unfortunately, we do not care much for horseradish so that is why there are four stars. However, on all the dishes the horseradish was tastefully done. It was foamed or on the side -- not overpowering at all. The meals were all beautiful. Their timing for each dish was perfect. At the end of the meal, I was quite content and ready to go home. However, they figured out it was my fiances birthday and gave him a small birthday cake. It made his day!!! I loved this restaurant because of it takes traditional Polish cuisine and puts a modern twist on it. When I have family visiting me, I will bring them here. I would recommend this restaurant for SMALL family gatherings, birthdays and anniversaries. However, I would especially recommend this to business men/women to take their foreign clients.

The marinated herring was so enjoyable as well. The fish was tender and the citrus profile of the sauce was a fantastic complement to the dish. The Chicken Soup was as good as chicken soup could be. Warm and savory. And finally the dessert. The fluffy meringue pie was very good as well but after a few bites, the sweetness got to me. Still a good dish though but more geared towards those with a real sweet tooth.

Lamb chops - again very pretty, meat cooked perfectly, the portion is small and the price is high (around 100 zł) is it worth it's price? I've been to place with lamb chops where they were cheaper and meat as as good as here. Unless the price is due to some special kind of lamb they have - no know told us though. Generally speaking this place is worth visiting, just keep in mind that it is expensive. I enjoyed my evening but still I think it is a bit overpriced.
