I have been using Potrait Innovations for years, and I will admit I have had my good times and bad times, but I will say when I have been disappointed with service they have really tried to fix the mistake and make me a happy customer. I love Ashley and Lacy to do my kids pictures, they are patient and understanding that 2&3 year olds don't always want to do what they have in mind. Today Lacy worked with my kids and came out with soooooo many gorgeous pictures it was hard to narrow it down. I have used this location twice & I am very unhappy... I tried to give them a second chance almost a year later but it is ridiculous. Both visits I spent well over $200 and left dissatisfied. The most recent trip to Portrait Innovations, was for my sons first birthday. It was really frustrating because after the photo shoot, I couldn't view my photos online for days... not only that but I felt coaxed into buying multiple prints that I do not need. During the shoot the photographer who I believe was the manager set up the props I brought in the way she wanted and didn't consider what I wanted. Then she proceeded to wipe cake all over my son to make it look like he had smashed it. She even got it in his eyes!! I will never go back to this place ever again. Poor value for your money, poor customer service, and mediocre photos. The next time I need photos, I will find a local professional instead of supporting another chain. I will not be going back. The photographers here aren't supplied with appropriate photo editing software so there is a good chance you will need to adjust the light settings, saturation, or contrast on your home computer and then have the photos re-printed somewhere else. The photographer was nice, but remember that this is a chain (not a local establishment) and the corporate entity forces policies that don't put the customer first. Below is a quick summary of my experience: 1) Forced to take photo positions that I didn't want which wasted my limited photo set 2) Rushed experience all around 3) Wasted an entire background set (out of four total so a 25% loss) because the light balance was all wrong so I looked terrible and the black background wasn't even black, it was a blackish-brown which defeated the purpose of having a black background 4) Washed out photos. I needed to increase the contrast on all of the photos to make the colors more vibrant and to make me stand out better from the background. They can't make these minor adjustments in house (which I'm able to do with free software pre-installed on my Windows computer) and they can't print the digital image I could give them so I am forced to get the photos printed elsewhere. 5) Poor customer service when I called to complain. Long story, but rather than providing me with another digital image in high resolution as some form of compensation for my bad experiences, they charged me $10 to obtain it! Offering the photo for free would have been a nice gesture to make amends for my bad experience, but instead they chose to eek out another few dollars. That was their last opportunity to make amends and now they've lost my business for good. In summary, I paid $69.99 plus tax for three mediocre digital images that I need to improve myself then pay more money to have them re-printed elsewhere. Think twice before coming here. read more

My first visit here I would have rated them a 5 stars. I was super happy with the outcome of my daughters 1st birthday, portraits however this second time around that my mom and I decided to take my daughter, niece and nephew it was a complete different experience. I recommended this place to my mom because she is very particular with portraits.. She doesnt like any parts of the body, face or hair to be cut off when cropping the pics. Well first off they had to reprint our portraits because the printer was leaving a streak on the pics. They were already closing so they reprinted the pics, handed em to us and sent us on our way. We didnt get to take a look til we got home and noticed some pics were still left with a streak. Also some pics cut off my daughters hair. We had to come back to get this fixed and the ladies attitude was completely different. It seemed that it bugged her we had came back toget this fixed. Her reply was "well if thats how she wants it" i replied "she payed a lot of money for them so I think she should get them how she wants them." I think if we pay almost $200 for portraits we should receive outstanding customer service. I dont think we should have to deal with employees attitudes. When my mom asked what credits or compensation we would receive for our troubles of having to come back they said "nothing we just fix them for you, but you can call the manager on saturday." I dont think we will be back. Their work is good but to me customer service is everything!! I never finished my review... So let me update you guys on it before I post it. So I did contact the manager who's name was sawyer. He reordered everything for us. We got it in the mail only to find that the calendar was a smaller size than the one we had originally purchased. He said to call the company because he could not manually change the size since they had done changes to the packages they now offered. So I did, the lady I spoke to in headquarters said their system was down that day but that as soon as it came back up that she would put an order to remake the calendar and to wait 3 weeks for delivery. We waited about a month and nothing so I called back asking what happened. They apologized and checked the system. Turns out nothing was ever ordered. When I asked to get transferred to a supervisor I got disconnected instead of transferred. When I went back in to talk to the manager to seek his guidance in this turns out he had been relocated and there was a new manager at this location. So she just once again asked me to call the 800 number and possibly ask for a gift certificate or something for all my troubles. I told her it has been a good while and she said that shouldn't matter. I have yet to do it because I have been so busy with school.. But when I do I hope she is right and my mom atleast gets something for this horrible experience. read more

Pretty chill portrait place. Everyone here is nice and helpful. My son wasn't cooperating but they were still patient. I didn't feel rushed at all and our photog wasn't pushy with sales. Prices were comparable with what I've paid in the past at other photo studios. They take 80-100 shots depending on how patient your kids are. Pictures print same day ! Overall this is good place to take pictures. read more

HORRIBLE!. This place doesn't even deserve a star. (I'm only adding one because I can't post this review without it) The wait was 2+ hours. Worse customer service ever! Please be aware of their "handling fees". No doubt, the pictures were decent, but these hidden fees are ridiculous. They draw you by offering "free" things such as a canvas, canvas tote or mug, which in reality are actually not free. Don't make the same mistake as me of purchasing a certain amount to receive the "high resolution" cd. Their high resolution cd is closer to low resolution. My photographer was amazing with the kids, I had no problems with her at all. She was sweet and I feel bad to even have to bother her about this. The manager on the other hand, was very obnoxious and rude. She was yelling at me and told me to just leave the store. It was amazing to finally be able to take pictures with family I have not seen in years, but this experience has by ruined by this horrible manager. Had a great experience!! Photographer, Ashley really got some great shots! My husband and I went in for just a more formal type photo. Ashley encouraged us to try some more fun photos too, no pressure though. Ended up one of our favorite photos was one of the spontaneous fun photos. The prices were very reasonable, the pictures were ready while we waited, with a nice variety of backgrounds we had a great variety of pictures. Will never go to this place again!!! Before they started taking pic for my baby, I was told everything would be printed right away onsite. But after everything was done and I was ready to pay for it, I was told that the hard cover book album will be printed some place else and shipped to me, which was ok to me. After 2 weeks, I have not received anything yet, so I called them to ask what is going on, but they did not want to take care of it and said I can give you customer service number and you can call them, we do not know anything! Terrible!!! Another bad thing is even they give you all the digital photos they take, but the quality is very poor and has their studio name on it, so if you want to print out some later by yourself, you just can't do it. Horrible customer service by the manager of this location. Was told one thing by the photographer, only to have it not honored by the manager. Do NOT go to this studio. Just as an FYI, when you get pictures at Target or JC Penney and purchase the CD it comes with the copyright....however, Potriat Innovations does NOT give copyright even with a large picture purchase. Save your money and go to another studio that will give you the same quality of pictures for a much more reasonable price. read more
