We did a bunch of research on Yelp, looked at A LOT of photographers websites and work and ultimately chose Vicky. Frankly, her rate was higher than most, but her quality of work that we saw in her examples was much, much better. And I'll tell you, when we got the sessions proofs back, they were incredible. She really has an incredibly eye for how to set the picture up and a really talent for taking them. She and her husband were also GREAT with the kids and dogs, somehow getting them all to look a smile for the camera, no small task! Erin had scouted the location ahead of time, so she had a great sense of purpose and was really creative and flexible in her shots; she was especially interested in what we wanted and in getting the right "feel" for our family. They were also excellent with the small (and not always cooperative!) children in our group.
