She had a great location to take us to, was very helpful before the shoot when I contacted her in a existential crisis about what to wear, and even made a pinterest board to share with me about outfits/poses. I haven't done a photo shoot or taken many pictures since last summer, because I had brain surgery that left me with facial paralysis and very self conscious. Chelsea was very empathetic and thought about this fact both before and after the shoot. She thought of poses beforehand where I would be comfortable, and asked multiple times during the shoot if I was comfortable with the angle at which I was facing the camera. She was able to think in the moment when the light wasn't optimal to still get some great shots while we were waiting for the light to change, she hiked with us to get to the best spot for shots, and even waded into a stream with me at the end of our shoot to get a couple of shots I wanted! I wish she were staying in Washington so we could use her for all our events we want immortalized!

(Owner) & Kyle O., florist at Donovan's Dish. Although the weather was very upsetting & I couldn't get married in her gorgeous rose garden, the reception area was breathtaking thanks to them. It looked like something from a fairy tale. Before seeing it all come together, I was often flustered & stressed from planning it all & let a few things slip. I forgot to do a few things like print a photo for the card box - Melissa was there to take care of it; we were late & were bringing some of the decor, so it was late - Melissa took care of it. I didn't want to have to make anymore decisions the day of so - Melissa & a family friend coordinated everything. So, I felt like I needed to leave just a bit more for any future brides. I was a stress ball & throughout the whole day I must say Melissa really came through. I can only imagine how stressful it must be to host a big lavish wedding, so her carrying the burden of my stress & her own was very appreciated!!! She's got a great property out there with a good thing going with the all inclusive packages. Her grounds are gorgeous & the lakeside terrace is perfect reception space. Go check it out!
