I drooled at the stunning array of rings, pendants and bracelets! I had been told earlier that day by my hubby that if I wanted a piece of jewelry for my Birthday/ Christmas present, I could choose whatever I wanted! So hard to choose, but got it narrowed down to a vintage Baume & Mercier solid gold hidden watch bracelet or a diamond necklace. I went with the bracelet, (but will probably get the necklace too). Don't hesitate to visit this gem of a store! They have so many styles and pieces that you are sure to find something perfect. The prices were unbelievable, I was expecting to pay 3 times what I did! The quality and workmanship is amazing, unlike major jewelry stores now. With gold prices these days, those stores are making their jewelry as thin and cheap as possible. First of all, the website says the store closes at 8:00, so we were surprised when it seemed like they were closing earlier. The employee working repeatedly told us that they had brought everything in for the night and to be careful, which I completely understand. However, the way it was communicated made us feel like we were in the way rather than welcome in the store. My family didn't notice, but I personally heard the employee say, "They need to leave," in a very rude and disrespectful tone while we were still inside. They changed the sign from 'Open' to 'Closed' while I was still inside the store, which made me feel like I was being rushed out and was not welcome there. Overall, it was not a great experience. I understand wanting to close up for the night, but there are much more respectful and professional ways to communicate that to customers. It definitely left a bad impression, especially while we were visiting on vacation.
