Where do I even begin? I am old enough to remember when the US Postal Service stood for integrity, efficiency, and reliability. NOT ANYMORE. Now it stands for the opposite. All I wanted to do was have a piece of mail delivered. That's it. I wasn't asking for something out of left field. I was just trying to get accomplished what the postal service has been doing reliably for about 250 years! However, in this case, I WAS asking too much. And when I tried to rectify the situation, all I got for my trouble, was the royal runaround! In this case, it might be better if I just jumped in my car, drive the 8 hours it will take me to get there, and just hand deliver it to the person. COME ON USPS DO BETTER! read more

This is a super busy post office. It is right downtown Gainesville just steps away from the Square. The challenges it's on Green Street which is a very very busy street downtown Gainesville. The hours of operation are the best of all of the post offices around town, however it the branch itself is very busy and can take extra time if you're in a hurry. There are several mailboxes outside where you can pull up and just leave your mail. They also have handicap parking out front with a fairly large parking lot. This is a full-service post office that has post office boxes, stamps, supplies, , and usually a staff of 3 to 4 attendants. read more

I have never been so upset with any business than this one!! I got a refund on 12/30/19 for cancelling my PO BOX and they said it would be mailed to me directly (which is didn't). I go in on 01/24/20 and brought them my receipt to ask them why I never got my money and they argued with me saying I did. I asked them to check the cameras at that time of transaction or check to see if the check was cashed in my name and they wouldn't do it. They come out from the back with a form showing I signed the bottom saying I received the cash. But when I look at the signature IT WAS NOT MINE!! They forged my signature which I reminded them that of how it's ILLEGAL they then decide to check to balance of the clerk who did the transaction! They saw that the clerks drawer was over with the exact amount I was supposed to be refunded that day!! Then, she said I had to sign that I received the money next to my false signature! I refuse and she said she cannot give me my money u less I signed so she scribbled out the forged signature and made me sign next to it! I have never been so mad at a store and keep in mind this was a supervisor who did this!!! NEVER AGAIN!! Please do not go here they are inefficient and frauds read more
