Mostly souvenirs I had gotten in Europe and clothing. Also ended up with a skirt that is not even mine so it seems they opened several parcels to peek at what they could have inside. I've sent parcels from other countries and never had an issue like this. And their customer service is (not surprisingly) abysmal when I contacted them about what happened. I was sent around in circles and in the end nothing was resolved. They just don't care. Please, PLEASE do yourself a favor and NEVER use Poste Italiane.

I had no idea a post office visit in another country would be so easy. They operate a take a number system, with a multilingual kiosk to get your place in line. Then you will see your number appear in a window. Even though I was tenth in line when I arrived, I waited less than twenty minutes to be helped. I recommend this location for any post office needs you may have. They're right next door to a "tobacco shop" where you can buy an envelope if you're missing one, and they take both cash and card as payment.

She guided me through the forms that were in Italian and even offered to let me email her a picture of my passport later on that day because I forgot it at the hotel. Eleonora emailed me confirmation she received my pas sport picture and let me know I would receive my shipping confirmation by the end of the day. Eleonora was incredibly helpful for this confused tourist. I highly recommended going to the Mail Boxes Etc on via della Moscova in Milan, Italy!

In Italy going to the post office is one the most dreaded things for me, however this location…read moreimpressed me. Very far out of my way but only a 5 min easy walk from the Villa San Giovanni stop on the red metro M1 line. The place is really big and clean with a wonderful scent (shocking, maybe I was just lucky today!) They have a convenient shop inside with books and drinks and plenty of chairs for waiting. The best part is we had about 20 people ahead of us in line and the two women working moved so fast! I think we only waited 10-15 mins and had no issues finding our package. The women were so quick, professional and friendly!
