Incredible experience. Do it! Fantastic guides for gnarly adventures. After well over 10 years of climbing short 1 or 2 pitch routes I stumbled here on a whim and had an amazing weekend. Rudy and Karla made my trip perfect. It's a whole lot more doable than you're thinking especially if you plan with these folks. My spanish is 99% gone, im not in the shape I was in my 20s, but it felt so good to cruise up 12 pitches with Rudy. Normally I am stoked when I do 10+ pitches in a weekend at the New, Red, or Rumney. I figured i'd get demolished out here. But cruxes were fairly short, well protected, pacing was chill. Obviously there's hard stuff to do - but I can do that at home. This was about chilling and just rolling up moderate stuff ALL DAY. This is something all us east coast climbers need to try. totally different experience, style, mind set, feel, and vibe. like a whole new sport. If your a single-pitch outdoor climber and in decent shape just sign up with Rudy and Karla to get cracking up these huge routes. I came home with forearms totally chill, just overall tired with calves a bit sore. Getting there the first time is tricky - definitely worth having them take you to/from the airport. WAY easier and fool proof. After that all you need is feet to get around. If you risk your won transport def save exact gps corrdinates and prepare for vague rural dirt/gravel routes and non specific addresses. read more

Climbed with Rudy for a half day in October. Coordinating was easy and he was a great guide and teacher. For what would have been the cost of checking my gear on the plane I was able to get a safer guided trip. read more
