I consulted several lawyers for my case, and I can confidently say that Wendy is leagues ahead of the others in terms of expertise, responsiveness, honesty, and service toward clients. She treats her clients in earnest and carefully listens to their cases and concerns, regardless of how complicated they may be (or how long it takes for the case to be explained). To top that, she provided me with unique perspectives (on a very challenging landlord-tenant situation) and options none of the other 3-4 highly rated lawyers I consulted even thought of, and she did it without needing hours or days to research related laws--she is truly an expert and applies her utmost knowledge and experience to provide her clients with all the best possible legal options, to mitigate their loss or optimize their success. If you need legal advice or representation and want to work with a lawyer that'll treat you like a dear friend, Wendy's that lawyer. I can't imagine anyone would work with another lawyer for new cases after working with Wendy. I really can't recommend her enough!

When I first reached out to Preferred Services in West Covina, I wasn't just looking for someone to…read moreprepare documents -- I was looking for a team that genuinely cared about helping me through a stressful legal situation. I needed people who would listen, respond, and guide me without judgment or impatience. What I found at Preferred Services was a level of customer service, professionalism, and client dedication that is rare in this industry. From the moment I walked through their doors, the experience felt different. There was no cold reception, no rushed intake, no sense that I was just another case in line. Instead, I was greeted by staff who were warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in understanding what I needed. They took the time to listen, to ask questions, and to make sure they understood the full picture before moving forward. Their dedication to customer service is the foundation of everything they do. Preferred Services has been serving the community for decades, and that experience shows in how they treat people. They understand that most clients come to them during difficult moments -- divorces, custody issues, evictions, financial disputes -- and they respond with patience, clarity, and compassion. They don't rush you. They don't talk down to you. They don't make you feel like you should already know the process. They meet you where you are and guide you step by step. Communication is one of their strongest qualities. They pick up the phone. They return calls. They follow up. They check in. In a world where many legal service providers leave you waiting days for a response, Preferred Services stands out for their consistency and reliability. Every time I had a question or concern, someone was there to help -- not with vague answers, but with clear explanations that actually made sense. Their knowledge and accuracy are equally impressive. They know the forms, the procedures, the timelines, and the court requirements. They make sure everything is filled out correctly, organized properly, and ready for filing. They explain what each document means and why it matters. Their experience shows in the way they anticipate issues before they become problems. I never felt lost or confused -- they made sure I understood every step. What truly sets them apart, though, is their commitment to client satisfaction. They don't just complete paperwork; they make sure you feel supported throughout the entire process. They check in to make sure you're comfortable with the next steps. They ask if you have questions. They make sure you leave with clarity, not confusion. That level of care is something you can't fake -- it comes from a genuine desire to help people. Their pricing is also fair and transparent. No hidden fees, no surprise charges, no pressure. They explain the cost upfront and stick to it. In a field where unexpected expenses are common, this honesty is refreshing. Preferred Services is the kind of place that reminds you what real customer service looks like. They combine decades of experience with genuine compassion, and the result is a service that makes you feel supported, respected, and taken care of. They don't just prepare documents -- they help you navigate some of the most stressful moments of your life with confidence and clarity. My experience with Preferred Services comes down to three things: 1. Exceptional Customer Service They listen, they respond, and they treat you with respect from start to finish. 2. Client Satisfaction as a Priority They go above and beyond to make sure you understand the process and feel supported. 3. Professionalism and Accuracy Their work is precise, organized, and backed by decades of experience. If you're looking for a team that truly cares about helping you -- not just processing paperwork -- Preferred Services is the place to go. They deliver the kind of service that makes a stressful situation feel manageable, and they do it with professionalism, kindness, and unwavering dedication to their clients.

The pricing was very reasonable, and they even sent me a video and photo once the service was completed, which gave me total peace of mind. They handled everything, including submitting the paperwork with the court, so I did not have to run around or stress about any of it. That alone was such a huge relief. If you are even a little unsure about what they can do, just ask. They are great at explaining the process. I will definitely be coming back for more court document prep. It is so much more affordable than hiring an attorney for this kind of work, and the service was flawless.

She got the job done for my daughter and got us the tools she needed and deserved to get successfully through high school! She knew her stuff! Had it not been for her, my daughter would have been it a much worse place. Because of Michelle, my daughter went from home hospital to graduating with honors with a scholarship to the University of her choice. Michelle was with us every step of the way negotiating IEPs and finally her exit 504. Michelle isnt just an attorney but a friend! Excellent rates! If you need an attorney to fight for your child's special education needs, LOOK NO FURTHER! We are forever grateful to Michelle Becker!

We struggled significantly with our child's IEP and educational needs. By the time we met…read moreMichelle, I had spent thousands of dollars on non-attorney IEP advocates. The advocates we hired were good and supported us in our IEP journey, but we never ended up with an IEP substantially better than we started with. Even the smallest gains in the IEP were prefaced by multiple, sometimes painful IEP meetings with many overt and covert reminders that compromises inevitably had to be made. These compromises were made at the expense of substantially underserving my neurodiverse child's learning, social, and emotional needs. My husband and I debated whether shelling out more money for an attorney would be worth it. Parents may not know that there isn't a standardized, licensing, or credentialing administrative agency that oversees IEP advocacy accreditation. You can call yourself an "IEP advocate" without any overseeing administrative agency, competency exam, or experience needed to begin your business. That said, there are many excellent, wonderful non-attorney IEP advocates. However, there isn't a standardized accreditation process and though we hired multiple strong IEP advocates, none were able to make the substantial, dramatic gains in our kid's IEP that Michelle accomplished. In the end-I consulted with 4 IEP attorneys and 8 non-attorney advocates in two school districts. Among the attorneys we consulted with-Michelle had among the most reasonable rates. Moreover, attorneys differ in their approach in how heavy-handed they are with district personnel. Michelle is a team player-she is very respectful, humble, and collaborative when dealing with school personnel. Moreover, she is very honest about your odds of winning something in due process & the high costs to parents (emotional, time-wise, and financial) with regards to litigation against a school district. She is firm when she needs to be-but it is delivered with the right degree of both strength & tenderness, collaboration and clarity/power in advocating for her client's needs-that is an art that is not always taught or intuitive to attorneys or non-attorneys. Michelle's ability to work with others even as she strongly advocates for her clients is remarkable to watch-she knows when to pick a battle, gently/indirectly showcase when procedural (or substantive) violations may have been made-without going on full attack mode, but still making her points and agenda abundantly clear. We plan on working with Michelle for years on end. I am not letting go of this gem we found. We finally found an ally who has an incredible mastery of assessments (her knowledge of every assessment, from phonemic understanding, to behavioral assessments, to visual/auditory processing, etc.) that the school staff administered completely blew us away), her understanding of even fine details related to evidence-based curriculum/pedagogy for disparate learning disabilities (ask her questions about dyslexia-you'll be amazed by her content knowledge), autism/ADHD, and sensory-related needs for neurodiverse learners is incredible. I am amazed by Michelle. She is an outstanding IEP advocate, attorney, and has a personal understanding of the journey as a parent of children with disparate special needs. My kid is finally getting an IEP that is truly individualized to her unique learning-related needs. I finally sat through an IEP meeting without holding back tears-because we were finally being heard through the support of an exceptional, singularly gifted and compassionate advocate & attorney. Don't hesitate. She's the absolute best.
