Sensational food and service. Two TV's with sport on them and a little background music was just right.

If you are a burger lover you can't go wrong with this place! Their burgers are big and juicy and tasty. They come with a big plate of fries... You won't go away hungry. Come on Mondays and you can have any burger for $10! Can't beat that deal. Very nice atmosphere inside and lots of tables out on the patio.

Folonomo - more than just a fun word to say, this long and narrow restaurant thrives on this as a…read morephilosophy; for love not money. Folonomo donates all its profits to charity, but this ain't no sausage sizzle. No sir, this is a proper sit down meal with flowers on the table that you could take your mother to. The menu is small with only a handful of entrees and a handful of mains but everything sounds delicious enough to keep you asking the waiter for just one more minute. The food is share-plate friendly and leans towards the 'healthy' path with dishes featuring cauliflower rice and risotto made from sunflower kernels. But healthy doesn't mean bland - their octopus is super tender with a morish smoky char and the poached chicken is succulent and juicy with just the right amount of harissa to keep your fork going back for more, even when you start using up dessert stomach space. It's a wonderful feeling rolling out a restaurant having eaten too much and not feeling guilty about it. After all, it's all for charity.

Such a nice moment in Folonomo :) I had dinner with 3…read morefriends and we have shared everything (Ocean trout tartare, caulifower rice, spanner crab roll, poached chicken bread). The menu has also really good for vegetarian. The restaurant is BYOB and all the profits are given to charity I definitely recommend this place. We need to book in advance as it is often crowded during for dinner.

Great hangout, cold beers…read more We showed up later, so we were able to find a seat and get quick access to the main bar. We ordered in person but each table has the ability to order directly to the table. The upstairs bar closes early, but the party remained downstairs The pints are served full and cold. The barkeeps are super nice. It is a place that is more mature than the surrounding clubs, so despite being loud and dimly lit, it will not have the rowdiness and strobing light of the youth filled locales. Great for chilling.

The movie didn't start right away, so we grabbed some food. They have pretty good deals from Mon-Thurs. $15 for parm and pint on Tuesdays! And its huge and you also get fries and salad. I didn't feel like eating that so I got the mushroom and haloumi burger, which was really nice. It came with these ginormous wedges - both regular and sweet potato. Good but too thick for my taste. Had some of my friend's chips, which was yummy. After we ate, we proceeded to the roof top. It was a long way up, had to climb numerous stairs! The set up of the movie was really cool. They had the tables laid out and had our names on paper reserved on the table. Mine said Rachel Q and her crew, which I thought was really cool. We sat down and they started handing out headphones. Its pretty cool because they are loud enough and you feel like you're in the actual theatre. For the 10 bucks, you also get a glass of red or white wine or a beer, which is a really great deal. In addition, they passed out popcorn! Huge fan, will come back for more silent movie fun!

Kitchen is run by Head chef James Wallis and sous Chef Alvin Valfuna ( I only know this as it was on the menu :P) Staff were very lovely and courteous. We got to sample a few entree's including the ox tartar, wild boar terrine, yellow fin tuna, beetroot carpaccio and the hiramasa kingfis. My favourites were the kingfish and the Ox tartar. For main I had the 250g rangers valley wagyu skirt steak with served with hand cut chips, zucchini, lemon and olive oil - cooked med well the steak was perfection! Loved the hand cut chips - little crispy on the outside. Dessert was also a delight with my favourites being the pumpkin panna cotta and and the coriander ice cream (weird but tasty). Overall, It was a great first visit and I will indeed be back!

The crowd is sharply-dressed but laid back; this isn't a pregame pub, or a uni bar, or a hipster den. It's a perfect inner city oasis, a big, airy, well-lit castle packed with discerning people doing discerning things. I want to be one of these people. Can they smell a pretender? They haven't yet. And I'mma keep going until they do. The food is excellent gastro pub fare, and the big wooden deck area is worth the price of admission alone, and when you consider there isn't a price of admission it's really costing you more NOT to come here, isn't it?
