I've been bringing my car here for years. The prices have slowly climbed from around $2.50 to $3.25 to start the wash. There have been a couple occasions when I've had a lack of suds in the foam brush. I usually get done with the car wash and spot free rinse for under $5. Took my brand new car there to try a wash and used the wheel soap option and accidentally got some on my car thinking that it would wash off. The wheel soap stained my paint and will need a professional detail to remove hopefully. read more

I only used the vacuum but thought it was a total waste of $1.00. I'm not exactly sure how long you get for the dollar but it was probably 5 mins or less. I'm giving it a one star because the layout hinders your ability to even use the vacuum because there is barely enough space to open your doors and then the vacuum had almost no suction ability. My little cordless hand vac has more suction power. I barely was able to vacuum the passenger side floor mat in the few mins that I had. I have no idea how the wash portion here works but I doubt I'll ever come here again. Gas station vacs are cheaper and probably better than here. read more

Twice this week I've come by and nothing is working. I saw at least a dozen cars come in and leave due to the same reasons. Probably should try and fix your system before you lose more customers. Best DIY car wash anywhere near here. USE CASH to avoid any payment probelms, and at the VERY MOST you'll spend $10 for a mid size sedan or SUV. I bring two $5 bills and some quarters just in case I only need a few extra seconds after the first $5, instead putting another whole $5 in. And that's coming from someone who spend an extra hour or two clay baring and waxing my cars after I wash. read more

Yes, after a determined search I found a stop being lazy and wash your own car location. We have been trying to save money and wanted to wash our filthy cars ourselves and not have someone else do it poorly. It was extremely fun. They have everything you need and you have the satisfaction of doing it yourself. You pop some quarters in and you spray wash shine dry and vacuum. Get off the bench at the carwash and get wet:) read more

Very good self serve car wash. When you pull up you will find about 6 stalls. You put in $3 to start. You can use quarters or card. $3 gets you 5 minutes. Every 25 cents is an extra 25 seconds. So for $3.50 you can get almost 6 minutes. If you are willing to hustle this will give you a decent clean. After washing cars you can pull into a spot to vacuum the inside of your car. It's $1 to vacuum. If you are willing to wash your own car you can do it here for cheap and they have all the things you need. read more

Went to this place to spray just the rear of my truck, not my entire car, didn't even use soap! I made the mistake of swiping my credit card thinking $3 bucks tops, was there under 2 minutes and left. Looked at my statement and I was charged $15!!!! OK, thinking honest mechanical mistake right, maybe the machine didn't turn off? just call the business and straighten it out. I called the number listed several times 8586799312, weird, someone kept picking up and hanging up SMH? Kept trying after verifying I was dialing the right number. Finally after about 8 tries, some guy answered with an attitude, I asked if this was the right number for the car wash, guy said "what do you want?" Before I could even get out my concern, he said "don't call anymore! " and hung up!! After reading some of the negative experiences here, I would suggest no one used this place!!! not even with quarters!!! This place doesn't deserve to be in business because the ownership has no integrity nor respect for their customers. They are clearly ripping off some of their customers and admittedly do not care!!! read more

This place is great! Ive never been to a self service car wash before. Theres 4 car ports and 1 large van port (if i remember correctly) they take cards woohoo. Anyhoo, it takes you through a series of 9 or so parts from rinse to soak to wash to dry. With the exception of other in between chemicals. Then theres a vacuuming/dry area in the back. Great little car wash. Ill definitely be returning. read more

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!! I had a very horrible experience at this place. My daughter went there to wash my car using my credit card but after swiping it several times she left because the machine wasn't working and she had no cash. A lady came up to her also and told her the machine wasn't working and to use cash. The next day I wash online looking at charges to my card and I saw that the Poway Car Wash took $10 & then a second transaction of $30. I called the company & a gentleman answered stating he knew about the problem and called it a "glitch" he said, although he knows about it he is not getting it fixed. He then blatantly told me he wasn't fixing it because he is using it to make extra money off his customers. He also said he wasn't paying my money back and then hung up on me. I thought it was a prank or joke so I called back a few minutes later. Same guy answered saying "hey lady you just called, I told you I ain't fixing it and you're not getting any money back and hung up again! So, I have reported it to my credit card as fraud. If you read the post from a guy on April 4, 2017, (My incident was April 12, 2017) I had a very similar experience. Please tell all your friends. I now have to go back and look at all my statements over the past year because I use that place about once every other month and I'm betting they took advantage of me several times now. The only reason I even noticed this is because I was looking at something else on my credit card statement. read more

Do not use this car wash. I used my debit card at this car wash and at the end of my transaction the charge was $10. Later that day while checking my online banking account I noticed that the charge was $26. The very next day I called the location and spoke to the owner who openly told me that he purposely leaves his machines that way so that he can make extra money from customers. Then he hung up on me. I called him back and asked him if he was sure he wanted to go with that response and he said yes I leave the glitch in those machines that way so I can make extra money from from my customers. I disputed the charges with my bank account and I also called California weights and measures so that they can come and check his machines. Please do not go to this location. I was really excited to find this place in my neighborhood, but my experience here was so bad and negative. My husband and I were having a great time washing our car, but when we moved the car over to the vacuum area, thats when the trouble happened. We had a older man with a dog come over to us and start yelling at us that we couldn't use the trash can to throw away the trash from our car. I thought maybe I misunderstood him, so I asked him to repeat himself, and again he said not to use the trash can, he then proceeded to tell me to take the trash from my car to my own house and use my own trashcan. I asked him if he even worked there and he said Yes! I asked him weren't the trashcans there for customers to throw away garbage from their cars so they could vacuum their cars, he just laughed at me. I wanted to leave, I was so uncomfortable but my husband said we would stay and finish cleaning our car. This man kept coming over the whole time we were cleaning our car and checking to see how much garbage we were throwing away, at one point my husband had to please ask him to leave us alone as he was harassing us. When we were done cleaning the garbage from our car, the man came over again and looked into the trash can and complained about our garbage again. We barley filled the trash can 1/4 . I was so uncomfortable the whole time, and this man was only bothering us. Needless to say, I will never be returning to this place, and I have already shared this story with my friends and family, so it doesn't happen to them. read more

This place can be either really cheap or really expensive. There's a variety of cycles offered during the wash however $3.00 will only get you 5 minutes. I drive a large suv so by the time I got though the presoak, wash, and tricolor foam which I should give a note of caution here their trifoam is really messy, it isn't like the kind you get at the automatic car washes, it takes a lot of to rinse water to get the stuff off your car, and this adds quite a bit of time. I will admit though that this stuff does get your car rather shinny. Then after the rinse and clear coat you're presented with a new option called blasto-dry. The sign said you could use this to dry off your mats after using their water jets to clean them I didn't try this though. For usage as a car dryer it was disappointing. I spent several quarters to use this thing and even then there was a bunch of water still on my car. I wouldn't bother with using this feature and use more spot free rinse on your car instead. For my car I spent nearly $8 of wash time which I could have gotten a high end wash at an automatic or a good wash at costco or a basic full service wash. I would recommend this place but don't fall for their gimmicky options, spend $3.00 and use only the high pressure soap and rinse cycles, and spot free rinse cycles. You'll get your value this way. Also I wouldn't advise bringing an expensive car here, the bays are tight and the water has the potential to harm the finish of your car. Take Teslas, Maseratis, BMWs, etc, to a professional detail place. Otherwise this is a good self serve place. read more
