The large Southern style porch is anchored by gorgeous pillars, hence the name! Be sure to check out the stained glass located throughout the place, both up and downstairs. The big claw foot tubs tempt me to lease out the place for the evening just to enjoy a relaxing soak. (I don't think you can lease it for a bath, but a girl can dream can't she?) Upstairs is a gentlemen's lounge for the groomsmen to hang out in and there is a separate area for the bridal party. The brides room has a huge full length mirror, closets and private bath area. It also features plenty of comfy seating. What a lovely place to get married or host a party. The kitchen is modern and updated, ready for caterers. There are so many interesting rooms to stage various things from live entertainment to food. This one is a true Southern Belle filled with charm and ready to host your major life events. We decided to give it another chance and payed about 2-3 dollars more per person for a 150 person venue to get the bourbon glazed chicken and brisket with au jus. Neither looked appetizing, neither could be cut with a knife due to how tough and dry they were. The brisket could've passed for unseasoned beef jerky, and the chicken was just a frozen grilled chicken breast. The sides were okay, canned green beans, which I was okay with but my wife was expecting a little more. Seasoning or anything would've been nice. The mashed potatoes were nothing to write home about. The rolls were sister Schubert's frozen rolls which are impossible to mess up so at least there's that. Service was good, the only reason this place even deserves the minimum one star allowed.
