It has two or three stages with a lot of local bands and some bigger bands who had been popular. There's overpriced beer but there's lots of food trucks. I went both nights of it this year. If you go earlier a lot of the vendors won't be open yet. There's a $5 cover after 7. It allows you into any of the bars. Of course, the bars on Park Street suck ass. Another annoying thing is the cost of beers. They have that stupid ticket system. For $6 you get one ticket. You get 5 tickets for $25. A 16 oz. Blue Moon or a 20 oz. Miller Lite is one ticket. That's crazy. Instead of this have the cocktails. These were two tickets each for a 32 oz. bucket of margarita, rum punch, or vodka punch. I would go again to hang out. It's not the best festival but it's a nice preview of the better ones. There's lots of food trucks with plenty of vegetarian choices so it has something else other than overpriced beer or bands to watch.

If you're not into crowds, this is not for you. If you like to see and be seen, welcome to your summer-time asylum of vain. I went, saw and conquered. It was fun. Trying to find a shady bit of curb to eat your food on after you wait 45 minutes for it. No thank you. This is a small one. Half a dozen trucks, plenty of shade and seats, plus a band, little games for the kids, and beer and pop sales to support the church and school. I think the beers were from Pretentious, Seventh Son, and Parsons North. Hardly any lines at the start, then some short ones. A decent variety of trucks: Mexican, Laotian (always go to Bella Lao- always,) sandwiches, ice cream and smoothies. It was a hot day, but the shade helped, and the ease of ordering and eating made this way better than most food truck festivals.

This fun 5k run/walk/job and 20 mile bike 'tour' (not race) was on a warm, mid Septmber, Saturday…read moremorning. It was definitely more fun then competitive. After completion, every participant got to enjoy live entertainment, great food (picnic style,burgers, chicken and veggie burgers, salads, chips, fruit, dessert, etc) and beverages after the event. Beverages included kegs of Killians, CBC, Amstel Light, etc. Most of the participants were Abercrombie employees and friends of, which really enhanced the experience. It was like one big team cheering each other on. It was truly a great event that I will be a part of each year forward. All funds raised through the Challenge support the Ohio State University Medical Center's Program for Health.

This is the dozenth time that I have been to this cute little church festival. Unfortunately - I…read morewill have to say that I was disappointed with this year's experience even more so than the last few; it has been going downhill the last couple of years. You have to buy all your food tickets upfront before you can even see what the food looks like and therein lies the hitch. At the other church festivals I have been to - you get to shop with your eyes and then you pay based on what you have chosen but this festival has you scan a QR code to read the menu in your phone or, if you do not have smart phone, there is a menu taped to the table that you can read by being in every one else's way which is super rude and annoying. So you hurry and guess and buy your tickets ahead of time and you have no idea what the food looks like and that was very disappointing. The portions were small, the meat was overcooked and people in general just did not look like they were having a lot of fun serving, watif ir even being there when I visited in the afternoon on Saturday. When visiting in previous years they let you see what the food looked like and then you could get tickets or you could pay after you had chosen in line. The reorganization this year was just really not working for me. I prefer to see what I'm ordering and indeed I end up often ordering much more than I intend because of the quality of how everything looks, the amazing smells and/ or the friendliness of the hosts. Sadly, this was not the case for this church festival this year. Making me pay ahead of time, keeping all the food covered and not letting anyone see it until you had already ordered it and having the food served look little like the representative photos makes me feel like you're hiding poor quality. Unfortunately, I will not be returning to this festival after more than a dozen years of really enjoying this place. There are much better ones out there that deserve my time and attention and financial support. I wish them the best and hope that my experience was just random bad luck.

Sweetie and I took Baby K., and I have to say it was not good for the baby- too hot, and too loud in the food building where the band also was. But we had time to grab some food and skedaddle. It is a small festival, but there is a ton of good food, and music, a few vendors, etc. Very well organized, and everyone was friendly, from parking to the food counters. It's a ticket system, so buy some tickets near the entrance (they have a list of "prices," and $20/20 tickets was enough for two adults with soft drinks.) Everything is behind the church, and there are plenty of tables under a big tent, restrooms, etc. We tried "Serbian salata," pretty much the tomato/cuke/onion salad we often make. Also a cabbage roll- perfectly cooked and seasoned, with ground meat inside and a few chunks of spicy Serbian sausage on top. The cevapi were also amazing- ground meat inside hearty soft flatbread. I could eat several more of those. We finished with dessert- very good baklava, a slice of nut roll, and a jam-filled roll that was, I think, citrus and plum. All in all great food, friendly people, a nice setup, and reasonable prices. We will be back, on a cooler day with an older kid. It's the last Saturday in July every year.

Activities: there's a kids area with a small kids train (I also saw adults hop on), a paintball area, 2 huge bounce areas, a corn pot, apple orchard, a small pond. and so much more! Food/Drink: fun selection of quick, fall free foods like shredded chicken or pulled pork sandwiches. You can purchase a cup of hot apple cider or a gallon of it. There are also pumpkin donuts - which I really wanted, but they were sold out when I arrived. Definitely recommend stopping by for some family/friend/solo fun!

For best apple picking results please go to the company's web site as they keep track of when the apples will be in prime picking. This farm has a good selection of apple to pick from. We stopped in the market to grab some pumpkin donuts and fresh squeezed apple cider. The donuts are fresh and delicious, on the lighter pumpkin flavor side but not in your face. The cider was cold and refreshing, not overly sweet. You can pay for a day pass for the kids. This place has a lot of fun activities for kids, playground, bikes, tractor ride, zip line, ext... If you are looking for something close to home but different this might be the place to go for a few hours.

It was easily the winner of the many locations we toured. The events manager was extremely friendly and helpful before and during the event. We used their catering and had plentiful food throughout the day - we had brought in our own snacks and they were barely touched because everyone was quite content with the breakfast and lunch foods! Also included was a history tour that let us learn more about the various rail cars present on the property. The tour was fun and informative - we easily could have listened to more! We have a very positive experience here, and the space is so unique!

Besides, working at the university a few blocks from PF, I wanted to show my support for this thriving community. The premise: Local music acts literally play on the front porches of houses strategically place between S. Dawson and S. Cassady Ave. There's food trucks and beer tents dispersed - yes, you can walk around the street-confined area with your beer. Bonus? You couldn't ask for a more beautiful, warm but not too hot afternoon/evening to hold this first one POST-PANDEMIC!!
