He complimented my wife about her overall dental hygiene - her gum lines were good and there no deep pits by the roots of the teeth. Still he charged 6 units of scaling. This would mean that she was in his care for an hour and a half - that did not happen. During the exam, the dentist wanted to fill two cavities - my wife declined. My wife visited a different dentist yesterday. She was charged for 2 units of scaling. Even more telling - the dentist identified two concerns about cavities; but the dentist put the two cavity concerns on a watch - no immediate action required. I cannot recommend this clinic - my experience is that they are only concerned about how much they can bill. Don't be fooled by their smiles and friendly comments, they are only in it for the money.

We figured, better to attend to it in the city, rather than the mountains, so called a few dentists in Kelowna, and finally reached Creekside, they were able to get us in to see Dr Colter in less than 2 hours, fix the problem, and send us on our way, in less than 90minutes, from phone call. Charge was very reasonable ($125), including x-rays. Very pleasant office staff :)

Despite the problem clearly being related to prior treatment, I was still charged for the visit, which felt inappropriate and indicative of a commercial rather than patient-focused approach. Unfortunately, the condition worsened after this appointment. What is most concerning is the lack of professionalism in follow-up care -- I raised these concerns directly with the clinic, but received no response or acknowledgment whatsoever. Overall, this experience reflects poor accountability, inadequate treatment standards, and a concerning emphasis on billing over patient care. I would not recommend this clinic.
