The moment I walk in, I am greeted by both the delicious smell of Indian food as well as a nice woman by the name of Susan Lyon. She tells me that this is not only a family run business, but a business run by all women, and Susan (with her husband) are the founders. After our greetings and conversation, I walk to the deli where they had a fine selection of foods from sandwiches to curries. I order the coconut curry (a popular dish, from the words of the man working there) with turmeric rice, and a cup of coffee. I cannot understate the amount of flavor it has, and I highly recommend it to anyone who cannot do spicy food. I also see their selection of bulk spices, frozen meals, supplements, and everyday use items like toothpaste and shampoos. I walked out with a smile on my face, and as the cold Illinois wind hits me I feel longing to go back to the warmth of Cornucopia once again, but my train was to leave soon.
