Emails sent to Mr. Velasquez about status of our order documenting that we reached out to him several times, asking for status of our shipment. 2. Our formal letter to J.P. Morgan Payments (Card Operations Dpmnt) making a formal claim against Power Punch Signs & Printing. Let me start by saying that my company is a reputable firm that provides equipment and services to the wind power industry. We came across Power Punch Signs & Printing (what we know consider a fraudulent, dishonest company) online. They pretty much "took our money" and "ran." At first, communication was great - they responded quickly and provided email samples of the banners we wanted. Once we placed our order and submitted payment of roughly $1,000 everything changed. We never received the goods we paid for. At first (when he was still responding), we only received excuses and delays. Then, despite multiple attempts on our part to get a hold of him (phone calls and emails), Mr. Velasquez suddenly stopped answering emails/calls. Two employees (myself included) called him from our personal cell phones and then he would pick up the phone. He would ask if he could "call back in 15 minutes." Needless to say, he never called back After months of trying to get a resolution, we did not receive our order, nor did we receive a refund. We strongly encourage prospective customers to NOT do business with this company. Our 1 star review is not related to poor quality of their service or products. Power Punch Signs and Printing, owned by Abel Velasquez, has been a case of fraud and theft. We engaged Mr. Velasquez and his company to design and construct signage for two properties. Despite paying a significant deposit (60%) upfront, neither sign was delivered, nor were the funds returned. After multiple attempts to resolve the matter, we were forced to take legal action. We received a judgment in our favor for the fraud committed by Abel Velasquez under Power Punch Signs and Printing. Furthermore, we filed an El Paso Police report for the theft through fraud under Report Number 24-024110. At this point they stole over 47,000 dollars from us plus damaged our company. El Paso Police Fraud and Theft Report: 24-024110 Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation Fraud Report and Case # ELC20240008264 Attorney General Fraud Complaint: CGS-397987 Civil Lawsuit and Judgement Cause No 2024DCV0210 We have been contacted by two other people so far who will be filing against him and have provided the appropriate information. If I could give zero stars we would. We originally bought our sign through a Diego & Abel and had issues with the first interaction. We bought our sign for $3,500 back on 10/18/2022 and communication was horrible and we did not get our sign installed until 1/31/2023. We then moved our company to another location and Abel our main POC advised us that he would work the permits and remove the sign from our old office and would take about 2-3 weeks back on 3/25/26 and we paid $2,257.02. The sign was removed later than promised and he advised all permits have been attained and would install the sign on 4/27/26. No call or follow up. Next day we called and Abel said sorry they would be out 4/28. No call or follow up. Called 4/29 no answer left message through text. Called 4/30 and Abel advised they would be there on 5/4 (our opening day at new location). No call or follow up. Called 5/5 and 5/6 and Abel apologizes for not following up and would be here no fail on 5/7. We were contacted by Abel that they damaged our sign and would not make it anymore and to also ad we had another signage company show up random today (since it is brand new construction) and he looked online to see if permits were done to find out no permits have been done for our new location. We will be doing what we need to and dispute all charges through our bank to get a refund while reporting to the BBB. read more

On 11/30/2024 i inquired with Abel at power punch signs for the construction of a billboard 40'W x 10'H, 2 sided, 3 lights per side, 40' from ground to top of billboard with permit and installation. 3 year full warranty. $65,720 -10% discount = $59,148 plus tax 64027.71. He request 60% up front then 20% when pole are installed and 20% upon completion. Power punch signs never started or completed the project. On Dec 13th he said the billboard would be completed in 60 days. On March 17, 2025 he said he will have the permits in hand by March 27th the installation would start from 6/8 weeks from that day. On April 8th he said all pipes and beams were ordered. On May 12th he provided a BILLBOARD INSTALL SCHEDULE, Drill & prepare foundation: July 7th, Set anchor bolts & base plate: July 8th, Erect poles using crane: July 9th, Weld face structure to pole: July 9th, Add catwalk & vinyl face: July 9th. He send me an invoice for 20% on May 20th then stated the poles weren't installed yet. On July 5th I requested a full refund of my 38416.63 cause he kept coming up with excuses. Then he told me the billboard would be completed Aug 7th, 2025. I made a complaint with the BBB and he said he would refund me my debit card/ credit card. I told him I paid him via his quick books account by check. He told me requested a refund via quick books. You cannot request a refund with quick books after 60 days. I'm requesting a full refund on my 38416.63 you have 48 hours to return my money. I will sue you for loss of revenue due to a failed construction schedule, loss of projected revenue and pain and suffering. Service requested 4 months and still waiting. My competitor has their sign within a month before open. I need my money back due to their lazyness and lying. Paid over 4000 and asked more money for material. I am recently Army retired and i am so tired of these kind people and so upset. No integrity and no value for this firm. This company is the worst! I hired them to wrap a bus and a van. The bus is a mobile office and it was supposed to be ready for the grand opening event but it was not ready. I kept calling Abel but he would not answer my calls or texts. I had to in person and demand he give me back the bus. The bus was returned to me an hour before my event with only one side of the windows wrapped. dirty and not ready for its grand opening. I kept asking where Abel had the van, so I could pick it up and he said it was in Horizon but he would not tell me where. Abel gave me the runaround and promised he would finish it and make up for his mistake with the bus. I agreed since I had already paid half and he had the van. Once the van was completed it was dropped off by his assistant, Myrka. She just dropped off the keys at the front office and left without having anyone check the work. Needless to say, the van was not wrapped under the door handles leaving it incomplete. After that, I decided not to proceed with the bus wrap. I let him know I did not want to proceed with the bus since he never fixed the van. I thought it was over with that company but Abel sent an installer a month ago to my office to pick up the bus. I stated we did not want anything with them anymore and I asked the installer to leave. Yesterday almost two months later, Abel sent another installed to my office where I have the bus parked. The installer proceeded to wrap part of the bus without my approval or consent. He just started wrapping it dirty and all at the parking lot! Luckily my staff saw them and I spoke to the installer and asked him to leave and stated he did not have my authorization to do any work. Fortunately, we removed the dirty wrap before it adhered and avoided paying to remove the dirty work. Not only did they go without my permission but also tried wrapping the bus outside with the bus dirty. Wraps are supposed to be done indoors and with the vehicles clean.
