I love Power4 and am so grateful I landed here. I used to teach fitness so quality instruction is super important to me. I've tried most of the studios in the LG area and this one is by far the best. Not to mention it's inclusive, non-intimidating, and classes have a wide age range. The instructors, front desk staff and owner are so friendly. I have chronic back issues and I've been able to rebuild strength without injuring myself. Side note: I haven't had any trouble getting into classes and I attend class 4-5x per week. Really liked the studio and the classes were great. We signed up for some classes and got to try quite a few of them. We liked their level 2 classes more than the level 1s. The level 1s can be great too depending on the teacher. Some teachers put up a great challenge even in level 1 while others made it pretty easy and I didn't feel like my core was getting the challenge it needed. Almost always the reformer level 2 classes were booked so we couldn't end up signing up for those weeks in advance. We attended one by a new / training teacher and that was fabulous. Decided not to continue because the reformer level 2s were super hard to get into and wish there were more of those. read more

Just finished my 50th class! I look forward to getting to a class every week. The instructors are so wonderful as humans and as the leaders of class. This studio is different than most as they offer classes for the early morning risers where most studios don't have anything earlier than 7am. Allows me to reach my goals and fit it in to my morning routine! Would recommend. read more

Had a great first class here at Power4. They offer coconut water, coffee, small snacks, and especially a cool towel! They were out of coconut water but was nice enough to give me a paper cup to get water (: I love the design of the room. Super bright and clean. Instructor was great and she helped fixed my form too. I thought the class would be harder since it's been a while since I've last taken a pilates class. Pretty manageable and good a really good stretch in! Since it was my first class, they also had a cute little sign that said, "Welcome Sarah". Not sure if I would come back as it is far from where I live, but if you live near by def come check it out! read more

Went for a few months and some instructors and the owner were just not very kind instead of trying to help they would just get rude. It was hard to believe. At times my area for pilates would be dirty. Just disappointed with my experience . Would never go back. read more

I had been suffering from sciatica and back pain and was looking at starting Pilates. I am so glad I found power4pilates! Facility is clean and the instructors are excellent. Heard about this place from a friend and am so grateful! I signed up for the introductory group class and have been doing private sessions for the last 6 weeks. Josie is an incredible instructor. She listens to you about your goals, and concerns (past injuries) to help curate the workout for you. She's knowledge and provides clear instructions on the objective of each movement and the why behind the move. She brings the right amount of energy and encouragement as you test your limits and try new exercise. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming as well. The place is clean, modern and bright. Typically before workout classes I feel dread, but I actually look forward to these, specifically Berrit's abs and glutes. She is so attentive, and gives you alterations if you need them. I usually do the 2, but you can move to 1 or 3 depending on the intensity you want. Everyone has been nothing but so kind and helpful, and the studio is in a really convenient location by food spots and a Trader Joe's. I'm glad I added this place to my schedule. read more

I joined Power 4 a little over a year ago. I'm so glad that I did. I started out with an eight time a month membership and found myself wanting to go so much more that I switched to the unlimited. It is probably the most welcoming Pilates that I've ever been to. I've done Pilates often on for the last 20 years. There's so much variety between the classes they offer and the instructors, it's never stale or boring. It's always something to look forward to. I'm so glad that I found this place. I have really enjoyed being part of the Power4 community! I came to try a flow 1 class as a referral from a friend for pelvic floor and really loved the studio environment, the staff, and the welcoming community vibes. It had been years since I took a reformer class and felt so nervous but the class was fantastic and challenging and awesome. The moment you walk into the beautiful studio you're welcomed and any questions are answered. Jen and Katarina were there to welcome me and my friend but since then I've seen how everyone is given the same genuine welcome. Membership/policies: Afterwards, I shared my goals and talked about the different classes and I signed up for a membership (they offer a variety of memberships and will talk with you about pricing and aligning with your availability/goals/budget). I appreciated the guidance from staff because they weren't at all pushy about a membership but wanted to help me find what would work for me and my goals. The policies are simple and clear with your membership, billing, cancelation, etc. Scheduling: There are many offerings throughout the day and evening allowing for maximum flexibility with scheduling and the private sessions are such a great investment and there is typically more flexibility with scheduling since it 1:1. Scheduling group classes through the app is a breeze. You can see far in advance what's available and you can typically get off the waitlist if you find a preferred class/time is full. Again, with so many class times available it's easy to find a class. Classes: There are a variety of classes offered from a flow1 to work everything head to toe to cardio, TRX, stretch, HIIT. As I've gotten into a routine of attendance I enjoy maintaining attendance to flow1 classes while incorporating other classes to continue to sharpen my form. Whether you have the same instructor every time or someone different the classes feel new/different and instructors do a phenomenal job changing things up and using different props. The equipment is fantastic, always clean, and the layout of the studio allows for space for everyone. Privates: I tried a private session because part of my goals were postpartum recovery but also building confidence to try and incorporate different flow classes, cardio, and TRX. The initial private session was incredible, Kristy was my instructor. I have noticed a difference in my own strength and practice but also during group classes how I've been able to understand/respond to cues and really focus on my form and core work throughout class. I imagine any instructor would be great but I was paired with Kristy who really took the time to talk with me about my goals and help me build confidence (and strength) to carry over into group classes. I highly recommend considering privates! Instructors: I've enjoyed each class so much because while all the instructors offer their own style there is incredible consistency during each class. Stacey, Kristy, Kerry, Brita, Hannah, Barbara, Kat, Andie, and Kristen to name a few but all of them have been phenomenal with sharing their knowledge and showing compassion and support. The attention to form and offerings to challenge up during class or to modify is great and something I value making classes feel accessible but also challenging. The instructors do a lovely job of creating a safe space for people at any level to find engagement during their practice. Management: Jen and Katarina are so kind and knowledgeable and the entire staff create such a friendly and welcoming environment for anyone at any level. Recovering from postpartum and feeling far from my long term goals was/is hard but the staff at Power4 are incredibly approachable and really help everyone get the most out of each class. I truly look forward to attending classes and I look forward to cultivating more strength and confidence. One of the best Pilates classes I've ever taken was with Kat at this studio! She is incredibly creative and versatile with Pilates movements, and her instructions are always clear. I've never sweated as much in a Pilates class as I did in her Flow 3 class. If you're considering taking a class here, definitely go with Kat! read more

I initially signed up for an 8-pack at Power4 Pilates but was so taken with the place that I upgraded to an unlimited membership just a week later. I had a previous lagree membership at another studio in South Bay but I prefer traditional pilates, and Power4 offers an amazing variety that keeps every session exciting. Katarina was incredibly helpful, walking me through the membership options with ease. Instructors like Andie and Stacey have been amazing, providing precise corrections to my form, which I greatly appreciate. The studio also sells the cutest socks--a fun perk alongside with its cleanliness. All in all, Power4 Pilates has been a wonderful addition to my fitness routine. :) read more

It was honestly such a wonderful experience as it was my first Pilates class ever! The moment k walked in the lady at the front desk welcomed me and asked if I knew anything about Pilates and when I told her no she gave me a tour of the reformer and the private rooms they have to offer. They also set up a sign with my name which was such a kind gesture. After the class finished, the instructor came up to me and asked what I liked and if I enjoyed her class. Honestly the staff is so nice and it really is so neat and clean. I would honestly recommend this class including elder people as there was mostly older people who were so nice. read more

I have been doing Pilates off and on over the past 20 years and can safely say Power4Pilates is a class outfit: - latest equipment with enough spacing between reformers that I never have to worry about colliding with another person. - the physical environment could not get any better: bright, airy, fresh flowers, upscale/spotless bathroom, beautiful waiting room - you feel good just entering it. - high quality instructors who have their lesson plan worked out beforehand AND change it up so that even when I have the same instructor two days in a row, the class feels fresh and new. - numerous choices for finding a class time and instructor that fits your schedule and style - an easy-to-use scheduling software that avoids the mistakes and misunderstandings I've experienced in the past when going through a staff person. If I have to cancel, book, or reschedule a class, I can do so instantly rather than wonder if the voice mail was received in time or if the person at the other end got it right. - The front staff are always welcoming, professional. The couple times I have had questions about something and sent a text, the office ALWAYS responds to me within 48 hours if not sooner. - There is continuous improvement in place where the management randomly sends out a short survey asking clients if they enjoyed their class and what could be done better. A side bonus is that it's in the same shopping center as Trader Joe's so I can easily pop over afterwards to take care of my grocery shopping : ) read more

I am so happy to have joined this beautiful female owned studio! I'm an absolute beginner at 62, and felt so welcomed by Jen and her amazing team. I admit, I was nervous about starting...am I too old or out of shape? I'm pleased to say that after 2 months of 2-3 times a week I feel so much healthier and happier. I can feel my muscles waking up and yes, I feel that good sore after my class. Fantastic instructors each bringing their own flair so class is never boring and you're always learning. I'm not exaggerating when I say that this is the ideal facility and team with an ideal complement to your fitness and wellbeing focus. I've been coming here since February 2023 and I love it. I'd never done Pilates before in my life. This studio is amazing and offers classes for all levels. I liked it so much I upgraded from 8 classes a month to unlimited and I typically go about 3 to 4 times per week. The studio offers a variety of classes, not just basic reformer Pilates classes, such as TRX, cardio, and HIIT. The owners are so nice and sweet. And all the staff are very kind. The instructors are great and super friendly. They're open to all skill levels and making an accommodations necessary. If you're looking a regular Pilates studies, I'd highly recommend this one. read more

It is 8/12/24 and 26 completed classes since the initiation of my monthly membership on 7/7/24! I have tried many of the instructors and like them all. It is an eclectic group with noted collaboration as some of the moves are repeated in each class for excellent learning. Mind/Body connection is happening each time and the space is elegant with a tall ceiling and bright natural light. Small group class of 12 carriages and so much variety. I even tried the late Tuesday night stretch class which was more of a self care/stretch class. Everyone needs this approach to exercise to lengthen yet strengthen. I am a local physical therapist with chronic neck pain and upper body weakness due to nerve damage who still plays competitive tennis. I am kicking myself for not making Pilates a priority sooner, but I will do this from now on. You will be so happy with yourself. Just do it! I even gained 4 lbs of muscle. Let's hope the fat starts to come off in the next few months. read more

I ve been looking for something that would be quick, straight to the point and really just get my abs back to ship shape after baby #1. I mean having a baby truly changes the concept of time. Like if I could eat and sleep while working out I would . Seriously I used to love to lollygag my way to this class or that and I ve quickly learned that ain't nobody got time for that with a growing human. I was thinking about which type of work out that would make the 50 min with every penny , and enter in this little nugget of a studio . I just took Grecias class and holy hell She burned my face off . After burning all parts of the muscles that I forgot I had ballet days - I feel like my body was like let's just go to the face and burn that off too. It was such a good work out ! Worth all 50 minutes of my legs shaking and my arms literally about to break off and walk away from my little body with a conjured up hand gesture ! So good ! I ve taken classes from katarina (so good) and another women who seems like an all knowing Pilates instructor but still kicks my ass. Moms if you're looking to stitch your abs back together and some , head over this way ! Keep the hard classes Coming guys because I ll keep coming back for more . Approaching 50 I saw the declining muscle tone but was too busy or uninspired by the rigorous exercise routines of my colleagues and friends. A friend forced me to try it and Pilates has changed my life. I look forward to going in, up to about 4 classes a week after two months. My posture is better, I am toned in places I didn't know needed to be and feel great. Power4pilates is a nice new location and I enjoy each of the instructors and the other members have been very friendly. We all have different body types which has been nice to create an accepting environment. For those of you like me that want to tame the flab but hate exercise I can't promote power4Pilates enough. read more

The main appeal of group classes for me are multiple timing options, good instructors, ease of signing up for classes, various levels of challenges, well-lit and clean space, and easy access and parking all in that order!
