The suites are located on the third floor, each beautifully labeled with unique names and secured with key code entries. My son and I each had our own room--I stayed in The Abbott, and he stayed in The Marguerite. The newly renovated interiors exceeded all expectations. Each suite had its own distinct style and charm, with luxurious, high-end finishes that made them feel truly special. We wanted to go here because I searched it on Yelp We had a difficult time finding it because the sign was not very visible and we are from out of town. I called and got exact directions. We ordered nachos grilled cheese and tomato bisque. Chili and grilled cheese. Coffee and water. The restaurant was very clean look very nice inside. Service was good and our server was very nice and efficient. The coffee was not very hot but tasted pretty good. The nachos were very generous but for our taste had too much cheese and not enough tomato's and onions and we had brisket added and it was too too salty, we couldn't eat very much of it. The tomato bisque was great. Tasted so good, I loved it. The grill cheese had way too much cheese in it. I mean I like cheese but it was doubled up. My husband liked his chili but felt the grill cheese was way too heavy on the cheese. If back in this town I would go again and try something else. We are in town for work and are so thankful this place is open on a Monday. Wow what a nice surprise. The atmosphere is very modern and clean. There are also tables and even a fire table outside. We chose to sit at the bar and had a wonderful experience. Our server and bartender Bev took great care of us and made great cocktails. I had "Everyday Vacation" and hubbie had "This Might Hurt You". The drinks were well made with fresh ingredients which is important to us. We were also given a little basket of popcorn to snack on. For dinner we shared a garden salad with blackened shrimp. Both the Dorothy Lynch and the lemon vinaigrette dressings were good. We also shared the salmon with mushroom risotto. It was excellent and a big portion. We wished it would have come with some vegetables instead of so much risotto, but the flavors were excellent. We will be back soon! read more

We were excited to try a new restaurant for us in Scottsbluff. We wanted the tempura cauliflower, but they were out. So I got the hasselback potato. It could have cooked a little more as was not quite done in the middle, but it was good. The wedge salad was HUGE and delicious; plenty for 2 people. I ordered fish and chips for main course. The Asian coleslaw was so vinegary and the sliced brussel sprouts were dry and old so it was not edible. My fish was so overcooked it was like eating crispy fish leather . My husband ordered the steak sandwich. It was very small and would have been dry except for the au jus. Other than being very small he said it was good. He loved the tomato bisque soup. Dessert we tried the cream Brulé and the purple sweet potato cheese cake. Beautifully served and delicious. I really wanted to love this place but I feel they are just not there yet.... The ambiance is beautiful and kudos to them for enhancing the beauty of the building and creating a lovely dining space. The service staff were very respectful and friendly. The martini's were minuscule being served in small cordial glasses and without the expertise one would expect from the bar in an upscale restaurant. It took nearly an hour to deliver 3 salads and two sandwiches with people only at 3 tables in the entire restaurant. The food was nicely plated but one salad lacked dressing and sandwiches were stingy with ingredients. We were on a business trip and all of us felt we would not return. read more

We found this place on Yelp and stopped for lunch. We had been on a family vacation in the Black Hills of South Dakota and were flying home via Denver. My husband and I had burgers which were made of high quality delicious beef served on nicely toasted brioche buns. (Although my husband's was a bit on the burned side). He generally doesn't eat the bun anyway. The salads were full of tasty fresh veggies. My mother-in-law had the chicken tacos and said they were fantastic. Brother-in-law had the grilled cheese and tomato bisque and thoroughly enjoyed it. Sister-in-law had the Southwest salad with chicken. Our waitress was the only server but the service did not suffer as a result. My mother-in-law wanted coffee and she obliged her by making a fresh pot just for her. She loved it and had 2 cups. For the prices, the food was all meh or even less than meh. It really tasted like it was all off the Sysco truck. Even the sauces, like ranch, tasted like the cheapest store brand at Big Lots. We are from San Diego, so maybe our expectations were set too high? I don't think so, because a good burger is a good burger. And this place did not offer a good anything . Taking home the leftovers to try and salvage an overpriced dinner with a few tricks at home. My wife and I eat out 3-4 meals per week, mostly Fri-Sun. I'm new to the area, and it is the only restaurant I've found in the area that doesn't offer a military/veteran's discount. I've lived other places where it is less predominant, and I get it. But when it is unremarkable and over-priced to begin with, I just find myself choosing somewhere else consistently. read more

Great find! Out hotel had one of their menus posted, along with a 10% discount card and it looked like an upscale place with good food and drinks. He had prime rib and said the cut the meat itself was really good, but a little cool. I had Greek salad and salmon and it was perfect! Good cocktails, large ice cubes and wish it would have been a bit warmer, we could have sat on the patio. Friendly, responsive staff!. I had heard "mixed reviews" before our first visit (nothing bad/terrible, just some excellent and some "meh") and wanted to see for ourselves. The setting/ambiance/place settings were nice. Definitely a "step above" the average restaurant around here, but not pretentious or excessive. Was a bit disappointed to see the ubiquitous TV screens all around (no, not everyone wants to watch sports while they eat), but at least they were smaller and the sound was off. Great proximity to the nearby plaza; this will be a great venue/setting when bands and other events are "next door." I had heard a few complaints about high prices and small portion sizes, but that may depend on what you order. We shared the nachos appetizer and had the burgers (two meat and one veggie, two with fries and one with Asian salad) and each had a draft beer, and the damage was around $23/person before tips...not bad at all. Burgers and fries were very good; Asian salad looked even better so I'll probably try that next time. Nachos were underwhelming at the first bite, but really grew on us as we worked through the plate...unique flavor and nicely balanced between chips and toppings. Some of the mixed drinks seemed spendy, but this is meant to be an upscale experience and although we didn't order any, we could see that they were mixed and presented with care and attention to detail. The meatless burger used to be an Impossible burger which I would have preferred, but I think Impossible is having its own supply issues rather than Powerhouse. The meatless bean patty was like the commonly-available grocery lines and pretty thin/dinky...I think having two of these on the bean burger rather than just one would have better 'matched' the meat burgers. Overall the burgers were some of the better ones we've had around here. Looking forward to returning and trying some of the other menu items, which hopefully might include another vegan option or two down the line.
