Powersource Martial Arts was founded by Andre Campos, with whom I have trained for years at the Carlson Gracie Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu world headquarters in Chicago. He has since achieved a black belt in BJJ and still contributes his teaching at Carlson's in addition to balancing his own program at Powersource. I began training with Andre Campos at Powersource in 2009, after training at several other Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools. I find it odd that a person's post from 2016 is the only rate on yelp. Yelp, with all the good reviews we had through out the 10 years in business, you filtered it to the one person who finds our door closed in 2016 when we were open and running. Yelp representatives keep calling me to advertise with them due to my "great" ratings. Andre campos black belt under Carlson Gracie jr. Brazilian jiu-jitsu (Bjj) and also judo black belt. If you want to learn from the best come and join the team stop wasting your time. I have my two kids and my self training with Andre. I have to say he is excellent with the kids class not to mention the adult class. This man eats, drinks and breath Bjj and judo day and night. I took advantage of the free month trial for my 6 year old son. I think that option was so beneficial, because it not only gave me an opportunity to observe the dojo at ease my son had a chance to see if he really liked the classes. We already had our minds made up within the second week of the trial that he was going to be joining the PowerSource Team! Currently, I don't have any cons regarding PowerSource. read more
