Yeah, I know, I should lose a few pounds, but seriously?? :) Ok, so I can't shop here, but it's fun going into this location with my wife ... she loves the clothes and the staff is really awesome. They are great at helping without being pushy; very friendly, quick to get other sizes & colours, and will tell you if something doesn't quite look right. Lots of change rooms and comfortable seats for us husbands & boyfriends to wait, chat, bs, and catch up on emails and txts.

The choices and the quality of the stocks is a notch higher. I personally really loved the salesperson that worked with us. She was on the spot, just there enough but not imposing herself. She made my sister tried a veil even if she said didn't want it, but was so Randy-Fenolli-Right and was a great help. My only concern was the downstairs staff that looked blasé and arrogant. It import European clothes mostly from France and Italy, it has unique designs that you can't find anywhere else. The selection of clothes for women has much bigger but it has some stuff for men too. What I like about this place is that you know that you won't end up at a party or an event with someone else wearing the same thing. Price are above average as you are getting about average quality and design. This a small family boutique to reimbursement just exchange within 1 week. Although if you come during sales time its really worth it. One last thing to keep in mind, the clothes are mean for slim people. The don't have bigger than Large and usually Large is like our Medium.

(One can tell that this shop's clothing is pricey, just from a precursory look at their display window! Gorgeous classic shapes and colors, the kind of clothes that would never ever go out of style, each displayed beautifully, as if in an art gallery, to appreciate the lines and pallets and imagine the feel of the materials). So we visited the shop today and were warmly greetied inside by Alexander. He knew the shop's clothing line and inventory like the back of his hand, and he told my mom that, unfortunately, the turtleneck in question was sold (the one that had been in the display window). But we asked about similar sweaters in a petite, small size and he showed her other pieces that were available. And wow, were they GORGEOUS. And the feel, oh the soft, buttery feel of the cashmere (100% cashmere. I've never had clothes like this!). Alexander was great, and my mother loved the first sweater she tried on. It fit her like a glove and the color was perfect for her. And yes, it was very expensive but she felt like a queen and hey, at 88 years old, she deserves it! And we saw another sweater with a cable knit design that she liked. It was not cashmere but, rather, 100% Merino wool, and she tried it on and loved it, too. I talked her into getting it also. (She never treats herself to anything nice). She got both sweaters. I browsed the boutique as my mom was trying on these sweaters. I was really taken aback by the super high quality of the pieces: sweaters, tops, pants, tank tops and silk underthings, accessories (scarves, berets and toques, etc.), men's clothing too.... All impeccable and made of the softest materials. Their clothing line has nothing wild or trendy in it; rather, everything from the tops to the bottoms would be considered "basics". Classic and basic, but incredibly made, of incredible materials. I was surprised to discover that this boutique has a little coffee counter at the rear of the shop! The kind you'd see in a small apartment's kitchen, complete with an intimate seating area (like a small bistro table, and some plush chairs). I was offered a coffee but declined, but how unexpected and how lovely! I found out that Alexander has worked at this store for 8 years. There was a delightful girl also working here named Camilla; she was lovely. This shop has another Montreal location on St. Laurent, and there are sites in Quebec City, Toronto and Ottawa. I also learned that they offer a cleaning service for all their clothing for life (I think it costs $16 and they will clean the clothes and remove any pilling if present and wrap and package the items - and I think deliver to your home. I'd double check on this, as my memory could be a bit muddled here), and they will repair any issue in any of their clothes, for life (like, if a thread is loose or something). I suppose if you are spending so much money on your wardrobe and it is a real investment for you, this is a good way to preserve your investment. And if you are storing your clothes for the season, they will clean and package your items up appropriately in plastic for the salon, or if you are moving. These are services they offer for all their clothes, for life. And if I were to buy clothing here for myself, they'd ship it for free to me in Vancouver. I was really impressed by all these services they offer. Super super high-end. So, yeah, the prices are very high here, but so is the quality of the clothing, the attentive shopping experience here and the follow-up services.

So this is a little atelier literally hidden at the end of the orange line (Cote vertu) plus a bus, but if you have a car you shouldn't have a problem finding it. The thing that will make you come even if it's far is that the prices are just unreal, especially when we're talking about wedding dresses! Think around $350 -$400 for dresses that are beautiful, elegant and still won't drain your weding budget! I went there with a friend who is getting married, and she said yes to the dress in no time, with so many beautiful options! You can bring friends and even some champagne too. A great option for people who are on the budget but still want ro feel like a princess on their special day :) PS: It's by appointment only so make sure to call first! And when you get there it will look like it's the wrong place because it looks like its a purse/belt/accessories store but the place is actually on the second floor :)
