This place saved me! Unfortunately, my hotel here in Prague suspended their laundry service and I needed to freshen up my clothes. I walked to a place close to my hotel and unfortunately it was a dump! It only took coins but the coin machine was broken and one of the 2 dryers was broken as well. Not only that it there were only 4 washers and all were taken, meaning that I'd have to wait for 4 people in front of me to dry clothes. No thanks! I got to googling and found Andy's. Right when I walked in I was greeted and assisted by a staff member who showed me how to use the machines. Best part is, you can pay by card! There's also lovely waiting areas and even some couches and water available. It was very clean and had several machines available. And all this for only 200 CZK (around $8 USD) If you're even in Prague and need to do laundry, look no further! read more

Worry free laundromat! If you need to do a load of laundry while in Prague, visit Andy's. The lady was so helpful and takes cash or credit card, sets up your machine and helps with the dryer. Two washers with detergent and one dryer cost us maybe $19 but we didn't have to worry about having exact change or detergent. Plenty of seating and free WiFi while waiting. read more

If you are traveling from the US and need to wash clothes, this is the place to go! The guy behind the counter spoke English and was very helpful since I have no idea how to work the machines. This place was truly incredible! Hotel laundry prices were outrageous and we were approaching week 3 our very fun but very hot (read: SWEATY) European adventure and laundry was overdue. I saw this place mentioned on a random travel blog when I did a google search for "laundry in Prague" and then read all of the great yelp reviews. It was a quick, inexpensive Uber ride from our hotel and for approximately $12 USD we were able to wash and dry a large load of laundry including the purchase of laundry detergent. The people working there are super friendly, helpful, and speak fluent English. It was such an easy experience, I truly cannot recommend it enough. It's well worth the trip to go there if you need laundry done and don't want to pay an exorbitant amount per item of clothing (looking at you, hotels!) There are several couches and tables to wait there, or you can walk one of the cute bars up the street. I'd give this place a 12/10 if I could! read more

Never did I think I would be writing a review for a laundromat, more less giving it 5 stars, but here we are. We started our trip in Austria for 5 days and moved to Prague after. Before leaving for our trip, I already planned on doing laundry at the halfway point to reduce the amount we needed to pack. I found Prague Andy's Laundromat was rated well and jotted down the info to take with me. It is not a fancy place, but the customer service is laser focused. The young man that helped me and my sister-in-law is the owner's son. He takes great pride in the place, speaks fluid English and is the most helpful. There is a small lounge area with chairs and a sofa to relax while waiting. A number of laundry baskets are kept by the washing machines which proved quite useful. We had paper money, no coins. That was not an issue. We were asked how many washing machines we needed, we were told a price, then tokens were given to use. The young man went the extra mile and followed us to the washers and put the token in, asked us what temperature we wanted and all we had to do was put our items in. Doing laundry on vacation is not ideal. I must admit, when we left, my sister-in-law and I were in such good moods, raving about the young man that thoroughly impressed us. read more

Coming from the US I'm not too fond of laundromats. But Andy's Laundromat definitely takes the cake! The free WiFi signal doesn't reach out into the laundry rooms, but no worries because a mini-lounge/book-nook offers a comfortable place to lay while your dirty clothes tumble. You can also sip some free tea or coffee. Wow! The staff here is very warm, welcoming, cheerful, and oh so helpful, speaking perfect English. The price is reasonable, coming to about 220CZK for a large washer, small dryer, and detergent (about $10 USD). All in all, this is the cutest laundromat ever and I give it my highest recommendations. read more

Quite the interesting spot. It's straightforward and easy, and there are places to sit (as in couches) while waiting for the laundry to finish. The staff was a little off putting at first when he asked what we wanted and said self service and acted like we just needed to start the machines, when it is actually necessary to tell him what you want and pay first. The person working was very helpful. I'm from the U.S., here for a wedding, and don't know any Czech language. He helped me operate the machines and recommended the appropriate wash and temp (you have to choose the exact temperature instead of cold, hot/cold, etc). This place is cash only. I had just gotten into town and hadn't had a chance to get Czech Crowns. He started my laundry anyway. I left, got cash, and my wash was done when I got back. I was surprised by this accommodation because it feels like the service industry here is the worst! It costs about $7.71 USD for a small load wash/dry and detergent. In the middle of 10 cities in 20 days I was in Prague needing to get laundry done. It's not my first time in a laundry but maybe my best. Marketta runs the place perfectly. Somehow she had an internal clock and is also aware of what 20 customers need all at once. Totally unexpected highlight in a city that is one big unexpected highlight. We had a fantastic experience here. We were helped immediately upon entering. Prices were as expected (shown online) in cash. He helped us start the washing machines at our desired temperature and explained how to use the dryers. All went great! One load didn't dry fully (we had it on a low cycle) so he even offered us another token for free. There are also signs in English on how to use the machines too. Our laundry was easier and quicker than expected. Friendly lady, and helpful too. One large wash load and one smaller drier load at low temp plus another drier load at high temp and we were finished in an hour and a half. Only two blocks from the Nanesti Miru Metro stop. read more

The laundramat is a self service. However, you still have to pay for a special coin and you are given a machine or a dryer. If you're not a local, you will be given a slow dryer machine or something. Our dryer was running for 2 hours and still the cloths was still wet, finally we complained and got to change to different one, which worked much faster. Cost was 178 crowns for washer, dryer, and powdered soap. Overall its was ok, took us 3.5 hours to get 5 lbs of laundries done. Should have been less than 1.5 hours if the machines supposed to work the way it should. Some machines are really old and doesn't work properly. It would have been great if the dryer given worked properly. Nice to have free wifi and clean bathroom. read more

I have to be a fan. If I want to have clean clothes until I get a washing machine I have to like this place. But I like it not only for practical reasons. It is neat, the staff is friendly, the prices are a little high, but if you are a tourist and not a regular like me they aren't too bad, and probably the best reason is it is a mere 15 minute walk from my flat. I highly suggest this place for your laundry needs. read more
