Meanwhile, I had the pleasure of relaxing and stretching out on the peaceful patio. It was exactly what I needed. From garden therapy and animal therapy to art therapy and powerful moments of meditation, WOW has created a space that truly feels like home. Started with a short presentation about the facility and alpacas, then on to the visits. We had a blast getting to feed them and petting them occasionally. We also got to spend some time getting a lesson on the process of spinning alpacas fur from Nancy. Such a great job showing us how it is done. They also have a small gift shop you can visit after for some really cool alpaca products, post cards, and such. This was an unbelievable experience that I would highly recommend. Storytime for little ones is offered on Tuesdays and Fridays at 10:30 a.m. After visiting the animals, we explored the produce market and were impressed by the variety. They had fresh fruits and vegetables, delicious pastries, breads, jams, and lots of other tasty snacks to browse. The owners also told us that we could come back all day (and night) and the amount we paid for the use of the bounce houses covered that. Overall I had a great time and I know my kids did too.
