And I bring them here because of the quality of her work. From uniforms to civ clothes, she does it all. What I do appreciate is that if something isn't going to come out right or if the fabric will get damaged, she will tell you "no" upfront instead of risking damage for money. I've gotten same-day service without being charged an arm and a leg. She's so sweet, provides amazing service and the best part is that she's reasonably priced.

When I asked for any leftover fabric, she said there was none. Last weekend, I returned to get another coat altered that was a gift and was too long. She refused to do it, saying the buttons wouldn't look right. She showed me what she meant, and I honestly didn't care about how the button hole looked - it was going to be closed! After discussing back and forth, it simply sounded like she didn't want to go through the hassle to work with the wool. Very disappointed in her attitude. If the customer wants it, the customer wants it. And if I say very specifically how I want something altered, she should tell me her reservations and let me decide what I want. It's my garment! I decided to leave and take it somewhere else. And the icing on the cake of my experience with her: when I was walking out, I saw my fabric from last year (the one that she told me there was none left of) lining her fitting room bench cushion. I will not be returning here again. Pretty bad customer service, and dishonest to boot.
