I've been going to chiropractic practitioners on and off for probably close to 20 years. I'm a strong believer in evidence-based medicine and I've been skeptical or have had limited success with chiropractic until I went to see Dr. Hands. I had been disappointed within the past few years with a (different) Bowie-based practice but gave it another shot with Precise after a strongly positive word-of-mouth recommendation. If you are in any sort of pain-- back or neck or shoulder or feet or even wrist-- please make an appointment (also easy to reschedule if necessary). Dr. Hands is very knowledgeable beyond just chiropractic manipulation-- he augments adjustments with exercises that are essentially physical therapy. If you keep up with them on your own, you will experience relief. His goal is to quickly return you to painless functionality for sports or everyday life. Dry-needling treatments have been life-changing. It's also worth mentioning that Dr. Hands is really a great guy. Pain relief is my goal and I'd take it even if it came with terrible bedside manner, so this is just a pleasant bonus. I had a great experience at Precise Chiropractic. They call him Dr. Hands for a reason, as he was able to twist, grapple and contort my back into perfect harmony. I started having lower back pain that would shoot down my right leg. It hurt so bad that sometimes I would bending my neck or knees for fear it hurting so bad I also could not stand and wash dishes for very long due because my lower left side of my back would hurt so bad. I was seeing him twice a week to get my back from stop hurting. He not only adjusted me, but also gave me exercises to do in between appointments to keep myself mobile. Dr Hands is the best Chiro/PT I've been to! He's very knowledgeable in his field & takes a pro-active approach with his patients. He wants to understand why you're hurting so that he can come up with a long term solution to help give you back quality of life. Not just adjust you each time & send you on your way. He listens intently & shows genuine concern. He's taught me stretches & workouts to do daily @ home to help strengthen my hip. Dr. Hands definitely helped me with my neck issues and I plan to continue seeing him in the coming months for overall health and maintenance. I tried acupuncture and physical with some success, but his treatment has given me the most benefit. He has a very nice and friendly beside manner, and explains the treatments very well. The only issue I had was with setting up my initial appointment. His website indicates you can request an appointment on line. I followed the steps, but no one from his office ever called. I did set up an appointment by calling. This may seem nit-picky, but the website should not offer that option if it doesn't exists. read more

I love dr hands so much he is an amazing dr but his billing department is awful. They won't tell you you have a bill due and then in July they told me my insurance didn't pay for nov and dec so I had to pay out if pocket. I'm a poor student and a 200 dollar bill does not work for me. read more

Dedicated to helping you! Dr. Hands is great. I have disc degenerated disease in my neck and back and work long hours on a computer all day with a lot of stress at work. I could barely straightened my back and when I drove, I had difficulties moving my neck side to side. A friend of mine recommended Dr. Hands to me. I hadn't seen a chiropractor before so I was nervous. I am glad I tried it because now I can move my neck and my back has improved greatly. While I still tense up a bit with the neck adjustments, he knows how to relax you (tap on your ear) so he can adjust your neck. It doesn't hurt at all and afterwards, I feel like a new person with full mobility. I always feel so much better after his treatment. The traction and stretch table is amazing. That combined with his magic touch and the stretches he has taught me, its a new and improved quality of life! read more

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE I saw Dr. Hands in 2015 for 3 visits, after being told I would only owe $20 per visit in which I paid every time..I received an invoice 14 months later stating that I owed them $250. I hadn't seen them in over a YEAR, their billing department is awful, extremely unprofessional and untimely. I was refused my medical record every single time it was requested, which is ILLEGAL. Still have not received it and on top of that he attempted to sue me...over $250. He is VERY sue happy, and trust me...if you try to contact the doctor directly to discuss the matter, he avoids you and will send his attorney to you instead. I have been threatened by this office and his attorney, that if I were to leave a review, they would pursue legal action. I want my voice to be heard so that no more of his patients go through what I went though! Worst experience of my life. DO NOT GO!!! I wouldn't even send my worst enemy to this office!! read more

I have to say I am very dissatisfied on how is office staff treated me and having a bad finical policy. I went a couple times a week during my pregnancy (2012) and paid my co-pay every time before I left the office. Thinking all was paid for. I was slapped with a huge balance that I was expected to pay in full - months later. (1 income household) I only received one statement in the mail. Just having a baby I figured that I would receive another notice in the mail. Nope sent me straight to collections, not even allowing me a chance to set up a payment plan or anything. 2 years later (this past month) I get a phone call from someone in his office that they are sending me to court to try to garnish my wages. Once again I tried to pay in full the remaining balance and asked them to send me another statement so I can look it over call my insurance company and discuss matters with them. Office staff said they would email me the statement and I have yet to receive something and it has been 1 week since I have asked. Apparently they were racking up late fees on top of what I owed with out me knowing I was late. I never got a statement saying 10 days late..30 days late..60 days late. Nothing. This makes me sad because I wrote rave reviews about him on social media and sent friends there. read more

We had a horrific experience recently with this Chiropractic office. During January and February 2016 our daughter visited Dr. Hands for some work she needed on her back. His service was fine. Each time we had our scheduled appt. I paid the co-pay the office told me we owed and the remainder was billed to our insurance. Today Jan 12th 2017 I receive a very nasty letter from this group in the mail, addressed to our 13 yr. old daughter telling her it was her final notice for payment else she was being turned over to a collection agency. This is the first and only such notice we ever received. Apparently the co-pay for each visit back in Jan/Feb 2016 should have been 5.00 more than we were told and we owed an additional 25.00 for the five visits. I phoned the office to pay it immediately, having just been made aware, and to voice my displeasure with their error and with the nasty letter they sent to my daughter's attention (although I had filled out all forms to indicate that I was responsible as her mother for any payments). I was told there was nothing the office had done wrong. The billing group indicated they had sent notices. It was not said however that they cared, were concerned for the error or appreciate us being customers. Basically 'not our issue' go away. We've done just that, chosen to go elsewhere and not return to this practice. read more
