I had actually booked an appointment with Safelite AutoGlass but I found their automated system to be such a pain in the rear to try to navigate. Never actually spoke to a live person--even after they missed 2 separate appointments to fix my car. When I called ACR & Mobile Glass, I expected to have my appointment scheduled days--if not weeks--later, since that had been my experience with that other company. But not only did someone answer the phone when I called, I was given an accurate and fair quote over the phone. And my windshield was replaced the very next day! The owner himself traveled to my home at no additional cost to me, removed to broken windshield, installed the new one and handled cleaning up the tiny pieces of broken glass inside my car! Tod was on time, the first time--and was very professional and I appreciate his attention to detail after the installation of the new windshield. Tod has earned my repeat business and I will continue to recommend him to everyone I know in need of automotive glass work! (He also helped make working with my insurance company nearly painless!)

One week, two weeks, three weeks, nothing. I tried calling Fast Glass twice during that third week, to no avail. No one answered or returned my calls. I contacted Superior and was told the windshield had been ordered and to give it another week (never had this problem with Safelite). The fourth week I finally got a call on Thursday and we set the appointment for the next Monday at 9:00 AM. Monday comes, no one shows up. I called and she said, "Oh, that wasn't on the Friday truck, so we zeroed it out." WHAT?!? They canceled my appt and didn't bother to tell me? What if I had taken off work? And why wasn't it ordered four weeks earlier when we purchased the car? We finally got the new windshield later in the week (and it appears to be a good job), but if you're looking for reliability and "FAST" glass, keep looking. PS: Superior offers no other option but to use this company because the owners of each company are siblings. Not impressed.

If I wasn't talking to someone from a call center, well, the owners need to monitor calls. The dude I talked to was high. He gave bizarre answers to my questions and finally gave up trying to communicate, saying I just needed to go to the business for help. All I wanted was an appointment that would give the location workers time to order the glass and seal if they didn't have them on hand (I drive an older vehicle). And I don't think that sentence is difficult to understand if one's brain is firing on all cylinders.

I had initially called Safelite (big name, nationally known company) and they quoted me $230 to replace a window on my pickup truck, and it would take 4 days for them to be able to send a tech out. I wasn't willing to wait that long so I called Discount. They charged my $145 after tax ($90 cheaper than Safelite!) and the repairs were done THAT DAY. Maurice is a very experienced and professional technician and i will be calling him for any future repairs, although I hope I don't need any!
